Härlig frukost i trädgården

El hotel es precioso, con personalidad. Antiguo, muy bien decorado con temática de barcos y navegación. El personal es súper amable. La ubicación es óptima, a 3 minutos a pie de la hermosa playa de Laredo. Cuentan con un espacio cerrado para guardar bicicletas. El único punto a mejorar que noté, es la falta de aislación acústica entre habitaciones. La pared parece ser un drywall, y se escuchaba hasta la respiración de mis ruidosos y desconsiderados ocasionales vecinos. Evidentemente tuve mala suerte. De todas formas volvería a El Ancla y lo recomendaría por lo hermoso que es y lo bien atendido que está

El hotel es coqueto, agradable, cómodo y limpio pero el desayuno deja bastante que desear. Carece de fruta y embutido y peca de exceso de bollería industrial.

Muy bien en todos los aspectos. Un hotel con mucho encanto y muy original. Se ve que tiene sus años, pero de ahí el encanto; y la decoración acorde a la temática. La habitación bien de tamaño, limpia y acogedora. El jardin grande y precioso. Muy bonito en general. Se admiten mascotas, pero no molestan nada. Ubicación muy buena, a poca distancia de todo. En cuanto al personal, un 10. Muy atentos y simpáticos. Si vuelvo a Laredo lo elegiré de nuevo, sin dudarlo.

The hotel is one of the very best I have stayed in. It is run with a great pride in service and attention to details. It is extremely friendly. The accommodation is dog friendly. The decor is beautiful set in its own private garden and just a couple of hundred metres from the beach front. Loved it.

Maria was AWESOME from the minute we walked in, drenching in rain after walking the Camino de Santiago! She showed us to our room, dried our wet clothes, ordered dinner for us...anything you needed, she was there to help us! She is a true GEM! We didn't have enough time to enjoy the beautiful garden, but we hope the next travelers do as it is so beautiful.

Very quaint hotel with friendly staff. Nice breakfast included. Cute small resident dogs. Rooms were warm but opening windows at night cooled things off nicely.

Beautiful property with a big, beautiful garden. A continental breakfast is included, and you get ti eat it in the garden!

Stayed here for the UEFA 2025 final. The hotel is proper chilled out and the staff are excellent, so friendly. 24 hour bar if you wanted with a night porter on. Ideally positioned to the centre with no noise. Really pleasant stay, breakfast is simple but good and available up to (and after) 10:00.
