교통편의와 도보로 가능한 관광이 가장 좋았습니다. 시설도 분위기도 좋았으며 서비스도 완벽했습니다. 같이 여행한 동료도 만족하여 즐겁게 여행 할 수 있었습니다.

This was a charming little place very close to the river, restaurants and shopping and just a short walk to the subway. Check-in was easy, staff was nice and the rooms were well-designed, cozy and clean. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely return.

Our family of 5 loved the Gozan Hotel! We were on the 6th floor and our room was so spacious and with all the traditional touches. The beds were comfy and the kitchen are had all the amenities needed for our amazing stay for 1 week. We cannot express how very pleasant the manger and staff were. They were all so kind and made our stay wonderful in Kyoto! Highly recommend for families and the location was perfect with a walk to Gion, shopping, and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back to Kyoto and will stay at Gozan Hotel again!

Excellent location, loved that it was close to Gion, Yasaka Pagoda and subway. Our room was beautiful and had washer/ dryer inside.

スタッフさんの対応が素晴らしかったです。 また、VIP特典で朝食を頂けたのですが、フルブレックファーストと予約には明記されており期待をしていたら、小さなパン4つに野菜ジュースでした。通常の朝食をイメージしていたので、出てきた今回の朝食に少しガッカリしてしまいました。名称を変更されたほうがよろしいかと思います。

Gozan Hotel was a delightful place to stay during our spring visit to Kyoto. The management was very helpful to us during some travel difficulties we experienced before our arrival. I was put at great ease by their continuous communications with us, as they promptly responded to all our messages. Once we arrived, our stress disappeared. The facility is charming, and run very efficiently. We were greeted with some beverages to enjoy in our room. In Ryokan style, this Japanese beauty's accommodations were very comfortable. Amenities were superior quality. The kitchenette, restroom and bathroom in our suite were all top notch. In the morning, we were able to partake of the hotel's most delicious coffee in the lobby before heading over next door for a small breakfast sandwich and juice. We loved that Gozan was within walking distance to several places of interest, as well as the subway and the buses. The Gyon district is also nearby, approximately 10-15 minute walk. We look forward to visiting Kyoto again, and the Gozan Hotel will be a must-stay for us.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The free washer/dryer was a plus. The showers were great and the place was very clean. It’s about 5-10 mins walk from the shopping/dinning.

We (family of four) stayed in the deluxe suite and loved the space and amenities it offered. Two bathrooms, two washer/dryers, two kitchen/dining spaces and a large outdoor area were absolute luxury after the small hotel rooms we had been staying in. The location is great. It was an easy walk to Pontocho alley, Nishiki market and the Gion district and vey close to the subway to jump on trains to other locations we wanted to visit.

The location was great, easy 5 min walk to subway and bus. Only 15 mins to market and shopping. The room was comfortable and a good size for Japanese standards. It is nice to have a kitchenette and there was free water. We only received 1 towel each and had to ask for extra towels which was not a problem. I asked for an extra pillow and they did not have any, that is a first and very unfortunate since it made my sleeping less comfortable.

Staff is very friendly and the property is very clean. It is also walking distance to many shrines and parks, and very close to the subway station, so you can easily access many parts of the city from there.

Good memories from previous travels

Séjour un peu mitigé. Hotel très bien placé, chambres agréables, mais salle d'eau minuscule. Problème de communication et le statut gold d'hôtel.com n'a pas été pris en compte! En points positifs, il y a du café, eau, thé à volonté à la réception, une salle buanderie avec machine à laver+sèche linge gratuits à chaque étage. En points négatifs l'insonorisation est limite, on entend tous les bruits de la rue passante, et en plus nous avons eu le droit à des travaux publics en face de la chambre le premier soir! Marteau piqueur jusqu'à minuit, pas top pour dormir et partir de bonne heure le lendemain ! Autre déception, le pdj à prendre dans le café voisin. Un formule avec 1 croque monsieur (5 gouts différents salés), 1 mini yaourt et 1 boisson. C'est tout, pas de choix pour ceux qui veulent du sucré, et quasi aucune place pour déjeuner. Les photos montrent des extérieurs... mais cela doit être d'autres chambres car à part un hall d'hôtel exiguë, il n'y a rien d'autre. Point important non mentionné... ils ne peuvent garder les bagages que jusqu'à 14h pour des raisons de place!!!

Although we only stayed for one night, our experience was very comfortable. The room was a bit cozy with our luggage, but everything was clean and well-organized. The reception staff spoke excellent English, and the location was convenient for visiting the shrines, temples, and the traditional areas of Kyoto.

Virkelig en god og behagelig service. Hygglig stil med meget bambus. Et hjemmeligt sted. Savner det allerede. Tæt på stationer.
