While the property is outside of town, they are beyond accommodating with transportation into and out of town, including the airport pick up. It is up the hill but there are some shops and restaurants that are a short walking distance from the hotel, including a great yoga studio. the rooms and pool have stunning views, breakfast is included and food is pretty good!

This is a great property. The views are probably best on the island, included breakfast was good and the staff was really good. Quality place, really enjoyed my stay.

Karuna is the most mind blowing place we’ve ever been. The grounds have to be the most beautiful place on the entire island of Palawan, with insane views of the entire Corong Corong area from the comfort of the infinity pool and restaurant. But the otherworldly views are still second to the unbeatable service. Staff are all insanely kind, helpful, with incredible English skills and they don’t let you lift a finger. We stayed in one of the Lumbung rooms and it was clean, stocked with great amenities, perfectly air conditioned, and all with amazing views atop the hill. Van drivers are constantly helping move guests around, restaurant food is actually like 5 star dining (I say that as someone who lives in Southern California and likes to eat at nice restaurants) and the entire stretch of town / beach down below the resort is just steps away. Also - while here we coordinated island hopping tours, massages, nacpan beach private van rides, and more all by simply messaging the front desk or popping in - they coordinated everything for us making it all so easy. The walk up and down to/from town below is steep but super doable and for the younger fit folks it’s a nice way to get some steps in. I have no doubt the attentive team will accommodate you to the best of their ability with van rides, etc. if needed (we took a ride a few times). I mean it with all my heart when I say: this place is so incredibly special. Do yourself a favor and experience it for yourself! Mabuhay!

It really nice and clean stuff are super friendly very helpful not ideal for older people being top on the mountain and stiff to go up and going down is ok the view is amazing but to go beach there’s a travel time

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Whenever we needed to reach them they replied in a timely matter. The villa we stayed in was very beautiful and clean and overlooked a beautiful view. When dining in the restaurant there were many options!

Karuna is exactly as described. They provided transport for our small children & pregnant mother from our apartment to the restaurant because the units are on a cliff. Prepare to do a lot of steps. But it is worth it. The views are spectacular. Staff are very accommodating. Food & drinks are excellent. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful views.

Lovely hotel about 8 minutes via tricycle from El Nido town centre. Beautiful view from the restaurant, pool and the balconies from the rooms. The beds are extremely comfortable with really soft linen and our bathroom was huge with a lovely big bath tub and a fabulous balcony (Julong 2). The hotel is built on a very steep hill, so if you have bad knees or mobility issues this wouldn't be suitable at all. There are a few restaurants locally that are definitely worth going to, as El Nido town centre itself is very busy. We took a private boat tour (Tour A) that was organised by the hotel that was fabulous and highly recommended. The restaurant serves a good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and happy hour runs from 4pm - 6pm by the pool. The staff are lovely and the sunloungers are comfortable, although there aren't too many of them. There is some building work going on at the moment so do enquire about this when booking, as it isn't due to finish until March 2025. Overall a really lovey boutique hotel.

Our room was nice and cosy, although not very convenient with only 1 storage cabinet for a family of 4. The view is outstanding. The staff was polite and helpful, although with limited resources. The hotel sits on a cliff side, so it's not very easy to access all the rooms by foot, there is a shuttle service. Internet is unpredictable, we did not have a decent signal for most of our stay, which includes no TV either, since all the channels are through internet. The restaurant has good food, but many items on the menu were not available during our stay. The rooms are not serviced daily, we had to ask for house keeping. Let's keep in mind that the area is not well developed, so we understand the struggle to keep up with modern tourism expectations. It is overall a good place to stay in the El Nido area, with downsides to consider as well.

We loved the view, the pool, happy hour cocktails and the food by the pool! The hourly drives to and from town, service and the daily cleans were greatly appreciated. The bath, shower and hammock outside with the view was a lovely surprise!! Yes there is a hill, but for the lower studios (where our apartment was) it wasn’t an issue for us. Although we loved the restaurant food during the day, breakfast could have been better (pancakes were great if you like them) and it was quite noisy relaxing by the pool due to construction of the new deck by the pool (hopefully it’s over soon!)

The Staff is amazing. The room we had was incredible. The view is the best you will find in El Nido. The restaurant is great also. It’s on the hill side so there are some uphill walking involved but they also offer vans to take you into town at a really great price. And they pick you up whenever you ask just WhatsApp them. They couldn’t be happier with my stay here. Will be back.

這是個令人驚喜的飯店，服務非常非常的好，只有一個缺點是在山坡上，但完全不用擔心這個問題因為飯店有每天的接送可以到街上，但也是因為在山坡上才有非常美麗的景色！我對這裡的景色完全無法忘記，非常美好❤️我超喜歡這個地方，下次還會再來的，每個服務人員都非常的好，很親切，謝謝這個飯店為我們帶來很美好的回憶❤️
