The guest house is very noisy, the walls are from prefab inserts and the floors wood. There is nothing soundproof about it.We were there over Chinese new year and had to listen to kids screaming and adults snorting away throughout the night. Every night. We also felt we had to sneak around and was one night asked to walk softer because the guests below us were complaining. We booked a room without a view overlooking the bay just for a family to put their laundry line up in front of our door and blocking out view. Instead of the beautiful sunset we had to stare into someone’s underwear. We removed the cable and threw it in the room, forgetting we had it. Just to be woken up at 7am in the morning with people looking for it. The entrance is very difficult to find but they are currently building so hopefully we’ll see some improvements. We had no wifi throughout our stay of 5 nights. All the staff could say is that the whole of El Nido was offline. Yet we found wifi all over the rest of town. Maybe the owner should consider a different supplier. We asked for our room to be cleaned and they forgot, it was quickly rectified and we arrived back to a clean crisp room later that afternoon. Only they did not replace the toilet paper and we ran out. On a positive note, staff are sufficient and friendly and it has a great location! My thoughts, break down the whole place and build a 5 star lodge with more private rooms.
