Reasonable price with great location and nice staff. However, soundproof is very poor. Not recommended for a person who is having a hard time falling asleep.

Hotel easy to find, located at 3rd floor and had lift. You can smell nice lemongrass fragrance when you came to this hotel. The room was clean, had refrigerator and steel safe to keep your important stuff. You can drop your luggage after check out. The receptionist (especially the young boy with glasses) so helpful. Close to many places.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. For those who travel a lot, they allow baggage drop and storage so no worries!

Kamar kecil yang nyaman, bersih, tenang, tanpa deposit, banyak makanan di sepanjang Chinatown, ga nyangka malah dekat banget sama Maxwell Food court, dekat MRT Maxwell dan Chinatown. Mungkin akan kembali kalau ada kunjungan ke Singapore lagi.

We’ll definitely go back to this hostel; there’s a lift since Hotel 1888 is at 2nd floor Superb in location is a short walking from ExitA at Chinatown stn. Souvenirs, nearby at maxwell hawker, metro and chinatown attractions like Buddha Tooth relic, chinatown heritage

Kamar bersih dan rapi, semua perlengkapan kamar cukup lengkap, hanya saja saya bayar cukup mahal, 1.1 juta per hari (tidak ada breakfast), dekat MRT, tempat makan cukup banyak. Hotelnya di lantai 3.

I had great experience at the hotel, staff were kind and friendly, the room was clean, near Chinatown MRT station, had numerous of retaurants around.

The location is very convenient. Near MRT, near bus stops, with cafes and eateries around. The room is good for a get-together with my friends! Keep in mind that even though there's a projector we couldn't watch a movie because. 1) The app is in Chinese. 2) phone/ipad mirroring is not available. 3) tried navigating around the app and realised that music & movies are chargeable. Hence, quite a bummer as it was wasted. The bathtub was amazing, there was warm water for showering and hand washing. Apart from that, upon arrival, there were no toilet rolls or bath gel, and the conditioner dispenser was not working. (all these can be requested but we were there for only 2d1n and we had our own so it was not a big deal for us). Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly!

You will start to smell lemon grass when the lift door open at the lobby and received a warm and polite service from the front desk. Check in was smooth and sway. The room is clean and exact the same from the picture. Located one level above Yum Cha and this restaurant must not be missed. Despite the crowds at level 2 it doesn't really affect your stay, but some walking along the aisle and door closing sound can be clearly heard. They do provide shower gel, shampoo and cond which smells like lemongrass+lemon + points 🤓 will definitely visit again.

Totally s**t service and will never come back. 1/10.

The staff was super rude and unreasonable.

The room is small but comfortable enough for a short stay. The projector screen is awesome. Only drawback is lack of a fridge in the room.

There is a MRT (I think?) construction nearby so its constant machinery drilling until 6:30pm. I checked in at 3pm. And the drilling starts before 7am because that was when I set my alarm to.
