A perfect stay! A typical Japanese room with futon, super nice experience at the bath, nice breakfast and very friendly people at the reception. There is also shuttle bus service to and from Kakunodate. Need to be reserved in advance. Maybe a good idea from Kakunodate becuase there are not so many trains to

Clean & comfortable Japanese ryoken with a great onsen and dining. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and happy to assist with any questions or requests. I would definitely stay here again.

We do not like the shared washrooms and there were no basic bervage seeved (coffee, kettle, etc)

Quiet area and the hotel is a bit off the town center. There's a shuttle service to the train station. The hotel provides free bike rental and I would recommend using the bike to explore the surrounding area. Staff is friendly, the room is spacious and clean. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
