It’s a beautiful quaint old coaching inn but it really does need a little attention to decor. Staff were all very lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good - full English very lovely, smoked salmon and eggs ok

In het dorpje zelf is niet veel te doen maar het is er wel heel mooi en stil. Het hotel is in een oud pand, de kamer en de voorzieningen zijn nieuw en netjes. Ontbijt is geweldig en (bijna) alles is mogelijk.

It's not a 5* hotel by any means but I'll give it a 5 star review because everything was spot on - especially for the price.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schönes großes Zimmer, sehr bequeme Betten, tolle Dusche. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lage ist malerisch.

Great room, lovely bathroom, good choice at breakfast, what more can you ask for? It is a lovely old building and quirky with some lovely features.

The room rate was excellent value and dinner and breakfast were very good indeed. The staff were very helpful and the room was cool, quiet and comfortable- all the ingredients for a good night’s sleep.

Great place to lay your head, great decor throughout the rooms, bit of thought on the shower as soaked the floor in bathroom!!!!

Fantastic value for money. Although the property is clearly a historic building, several areas like the restaurant have been updated beautifully and the rest are charming.

Lovely, helpful, personable staff, caring service from absolutely everyone, any time of the day, anyhting I needed. Something you definately can not get in big, chain hotels. The village is delightfully oldy wordly. Close proximity to Oxford make it a perfect alternative to staying in Oxford even if you have something to do or attend in Oxford. For non drivers, there is a frequent, reliable service from the bypass, just outside the village, a short walk through this beautiful village.

Excellent options especially for a colleague who is Gluten Free.
