Apartment was clean, but a bit run down. Could use a bit of paint and replacement for towel racks/cabinet doors. Efficient check-in and out though.

Convenient, as comfortable as a hotel, and the apartment had all the essentials.

Appartement trop petit pour 6 personnes et pas assez équipé pour ce nombre de personnes = terrasse non nettoyée et la table extérieure était très fatiguée, il manquait un rideau pour faire le noir dans une chambre, pas de matériel pour nettoyer le sol seulement un aspirateur, porte fenêtre terrasse les roulettes étaient hors service (difficile à manipuler) une seule climatisation pour tout le logement et il manquait des informations dans le livret d’accueil

Below is an extract of an SMS that I sent to the ReadySet Appartments trying to get some sort of satisfaction from them for our stay between 15/18 July 2025: Hi ReadySet I'm so glad you made contact with me because I have been back to the key pickup twice now and they said I had to contact you direct. I am extremely unhappy with the accommodation and the cleanliness of the unit. I specifically booked for 6 but the unit is setup for 4 including 4 cups, 4 sets of cutlery etc. There are no complimentary toiletries, the sugar canister is filthy and would appear to have possible mouse droppings in it, there is a power point that is hanging off the wall, the remote for tv has no batteries or back plate, 1 knob on the stove is broken off, the linen is dirty and has hair on the pillows, there is crumpled toilet paper on the top of the wardrobe in bedroom 1 and the biggest problem is the sofa bed is broken to the point of having to prop up the middle with pillows, towels and anything else I could find to improvise. This bed needs your attention today. All the above has been photographed for your information. As we have 2 more nights in our stay in Melbourne I would appreciate your urgent attention to the above matters. Attached: photos for confirmation of my complaints. Clive

Comfortable, beautiful apartment nearby southern cross station. Strongly recommend to stay ReadySet apartment when you’ll visit to Melbourne first time.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The space is filthy. The carpet is disgusting. The washing machine keeps tripping the circuit off and despite all the efforts went in to communicate with them it’s never fixed. The space inside is suffocating. After you book they bomb you with messages on SMS, WhatsApp, and email rushing you to pay for everything - perhaps they know once you get there you’d move out immediately. Once you pay and checked in, they don’t answer any of your needs and feedback. Suddenly it’s hard to get their response. It is so awful and do not stay here!!!

Unit was filthy inside

The property needs to repainted, carpets cleaned, handle on the window, lock on the bathroom door and cupboards cleaned out as I found a knife in the bedroom cupboard.

The property was nothing like advertised. Carpets and rugs were stained . No Balcony furniture. Door to balcony was not working properly and required 3 people to open and close it. No toiletries supplied except a quarter bottle of hand wash, used conditioner and shampoo. Kitchen appliances dirty. Blinds were broken. No coffee or tea supplied. Very dirty windows. Beds uncomfortable and the television was a 32 inch, not 65 inch as advertised.

many things in the apartment were either broken or not working properly. it wasn't cleaned very well at all and was definitely not suitable for 6 people

This property was suppose to be professionally cleaned, well then I would get new cleaners. It was terrible, stained carpet. Something had been splashed on picture on walls, windows dirty, mould in the shower etc. if you need food internet don’t go here. Can get hardly any signal and calls drop out constantly

Very dirty

We booked and paid for our accommodation and after driving for 10 hours we were left without anywhere to stay and no help from wotif at all. We had to turn around and go back and we are still waiting for a refund. Never book with wotif

Overall it was a good stay. Although, when we asked to have more toilet papers and garbage bags, they told us to get them at the supermarket which was a bit disappointing. The room was clean and nice. The chairs could have been replaced since the cushions were very much worn out. Good location.

The apartment was well equipped upon welcome. Had restaurant suggestions. Close to stations and car rentals as well as grocery and liquor store. The carpet was a little tired looking.

Good location. Only one key that worked. Bed was kitset and slats kept moving, which resulted in mattress falling through the slatted areas. This could be remedied by securing one side of the slats.

We loved the view and all the amenities provided in the apartment. Great location to supermarket and DFO Spencer street. Also trams very handy to location.

The property served the purpose and was great size

just opposite to the skybus link station.... very convenient place....
