L’accueil a été convenable et la propriétaire a été poli. En revanche, il y a avait des travaux extérieurs. Ils coupaient des grands arbres. L’extérieur n’était donc pas propre (tronc d’arbres un peu partout et autres…). On nous a prévenu uniquement à notre arrivée que les travailleurs revenaient dans 2 jours sans nous prévenir de l’heure. Ils sont venus avec leurs camions et tronçonneuses dès 6h du matin. Ils ont fait un bruit incroyable et très désagréable. On a donc été réveillé et c’était même insoutenable. On a pris le petit déjeuner (d’ailleurs assez médiocre) le plus rapidement possible et nous sommes partis. On recherchait un hôtel tranquille, proche de l’aéroport mais sans entendre les avions. On a été accueillis avec les tronçonneuses… même les travailleurs passaient devant la fenêtre vitrée de notre chambre (manque de politesse et de discrétion totale). Je trouve que c’est totalement irrespectueux de louer des logements dans ces conditions et surtout avec ce prix élevé. On finit donc nos vacances d’une mauvaise manière à cause de cet hôtel. Je déconseille totalement cet hôtel. Si on accueille des clients comme cela, tout est possible ensuite.

Excellent amenities and Margarita is the best.

Margarita welcomed us on arrival. She was wonderful- even making sure we had coffee for our early morning flight! The rooms are very charming and the property is beautiful. We were only there 1 night but I would go back to stay longer!

Margarita was a wonderful host! Very friendly and gave us great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. It’s very quiet and relaxing because it’s not on the main road where you can hear all the road noise! I would recommend a stay if you want old school charm and hospitality.

Very quaint and well kept b&b

We arrived late due to a delayed flight and she met us at the gate and took us straight to our room. She could not have been any friendlier during our stay. Beds were incredibly comfortable and breakfast was fresh and delicious the next morning. Our younger kids loved wandering the property and watching all the birds and beautiful flowers. This place is a gem.

Margarita greeted us warmly and showed us our room. The resort has seen better days especially the pool area. The bed was comfy with nice linen but the kitchen needed a good clean. Luckily we didn’t need to use it. A breakfast was offered with various options. This is fine for a brief overnight stay.

Rart og hyggeligt sted, med lækker morgenmad og en skøn tropisk have. Ejeren var enormt venlig og gjorde alt hvad hun kunne for at gøre vores ophold godt og hjælpe os med at få en god start på vores rejse i Costa Rica. Tak til Margarita og hendes søde hunde!

Our stay at Villa Margarita was beyond fantastic. Rooms were clean, staff was very accommodating, grounds were beautiful. Margarita went out of her way to make sure that you always felt at home and had whatever you needed. Very relaxing stay. Just what we wanted.

Breakfast lovely and fresh, location perfect for after arriving before heading to La Fortuna. Host was great super friendly and interesting. Room was a great size with views over the garden with lots of wild birds.

The owner is very friendly and accommodating! Gardens are beautiful, nice area to walk around in, kids play area! Breakfast was big and delicious!! Very enjoyable stay!

The host was extremely interactive, kind, and attentive to all of the guests she made everyone feel special

Hilltop outside San Jose center. Quiet and calm, yet less than 30 minutes from airport. Super host, good breakfast, honor system beverages 24/7. Lots of dogs to play with.

Hebergement tres spacieux nous étions 4 mes 3 fils adultes et moi leur mère nous avions besoin de place et c'etait parfait la chambre était immense !!! Dans un jardin magnifique. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et notre hôte etait charmante un 10/10

We enjoyed our stay at Margarita's place. She is a very sweet lady. Her staff very respectful and attentive. Breakfast was delicious and plenty variety. The family room was spacious and confortable. Definitely we would stay in our next visit to Costa Rica

Hostess was amazing! She was up when we arrived late and had a fantastic breakfast for us early the next day. We also LOVED all of the furry friends roaming the property!
