뜨거운물이 물탱크를 데우는 방식이라 너무 많이 쓰면 다시 뜨거운 물이 나오는데 시간이 좀 걸립니다. 눈이와서 오로라는 못 봤지만 시설도 좋고 깔끔하네요. 추천합니다. 조식도 깔끔합니다.

너무 만족해요. 깔끔하고 리셉션도 엄청나게 친절하고. 오로라 헌팅 따로 없이 숙소앞에서 봤습니다.

일찍 도착했음에도 친절한 응대 및 빠른 체크인을 진행해주고 친절한 호텔이용에 대한 설명도 좋았습니다 특히 만족스러운 침구류와 주변 경치를 볼 수 있어서 편안한 휴식을 취할 수 있었습니다

정말 좋았어요. 독특한 장소 그리고 오로라를 못봤지만 ㅠㅠ 오로라보기에는 최적의 장소라고 생각합니다!^^ 냉장고 있다는 것도 장점입니다 ㅎㅎ 깨끗하고 좋았어요!

평온한 장소에 위치, 친절한 환대, 감동의 청결 수준

가격이 아주 저렴하진 않지만, 아이슬란드에서 묵은 곳 중 가장 좋았습니다. Maria의 따뜻한 환대도 그랬지만, 시설이 워낙 깨끗하고 깔끔했습니다. 트괴 온돌 시스템이어서 따뜻하게 지냈습니다. 이 곳에서 오로라도 보고, 유성우도 보았기 때문에 더 좋은 추억이 되었습니다. 단점이라면, 숙소 바로 앞에 주차할 수는 없으므로 짐을 옮겨야 한다는 것(이것도 도와줍니다) 과 샤워 배수구가 약간 정비가 필요하다는 점(샤워시 조금 부스 밖으로 물이 넘칩니다) 정도입니다.

Location, ambience, rooms and restaurants were outstanding: We are really happy that we booked the place. The rooms were good size and clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Free parking and next to our room: Definitely recommend people to stay and we had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food was amazing.

Lovely place! Scenic. Clean. Well maintained. Our smallest accommodation AND most expensive on our entire Ring Road trip. Nothing negative to say--only for comparison sake.

Beautiful and peaceful spot with lots of birdlife in Klaustur. Easy parking and fast check-in. Stayed two nights. The room was nicely appointed but SO hot. No matter what we did (turned thermostat as low as it could go, then finally turned off the breaker) it was uncomfortably warm. We surmised that this was probably due to the grass roof retaining heat so something to be aware of for summer travellers. Every table at the breakfast buffet was talking about it in the morning (we counted 5 different tables of travellers commiserating). The bathroom was nice and modern - large shower, big modern sink (easy to fill water bottles), Soley bath products, but our towel warmer was out of order and it had a separate locked thermostat which was again so hot. The back area is perfect for a couple, with a two person wood bench and portable cushions found above the closet. Lush green field view with horses in the distance and various birds (oyster catchers, redshanks, snipes, arctic tern, gulls, redwings). Good selection at breakfast, did not make it to dinner but did go 3 min drive away to Kjarr and had a wonderful meal with front row view of the Systrafoss. Conveniently close to groceries, pharmacy, gas station, but still felt remote. Would not stay again in the summer but would consider in the winter.

Beautifully located individual cabins. Very spacious inside. The ones closer to the lake and reception/restaurant house are super quiet. Liked everything except a minor inconvenience. The water from the shower overflows into the tiny bathroom no matter how careful you are. When we asked for extra towels, we were told to come and get them. Nobody is at the reception past dinner time. Breakfast is very limited. Overall, beautiful place lacking service level that would much the high price.

I was disappointed with my stay at Magma Hotel, especially considering the premium price. We were allocated a room with an accessible bathroom even though we did not request one. The shower had no door or proper barrier, causing water to flood much of the bathroom floor after every shower. Light entered through the glass panel beside the entrance door, and the room could not be fully darkened in the summer. The water view is quite far away and the experience was not as expected. The hotel enforces a strict 4:00 PM check-in policy. Breakfast was mediocre, with a fairly limited selection.

Absolutely loved this property!!! If you have a chance to visit a real, authentic experience, this is such a treat in the middle of the county.

We totally recommend this hotel, it's really beautiful and unique, small beautiful cabins in the middle of nowhere that most of them have amazing views to the lake or the glacier. The staff was really friendly and helpful, cheers to Cosmin, he was really amazing with us during our stay. The only thing I would improve is the dinning room, not in decoration, but in space, we think it's small for all the cabins, during breakfast it was crowded, but besides that, an amazing option if you're visiting the south of Iceland.
