We had a great welcome at reception and a very clean and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. The pool was clean, towels and toiletries were supplied. The hotel was set in lovely goods and was in walking distance of Windermere town.

Great service. Really friendly staff. Amazing location, you're only 10 minutes walk from the lake. I asked if the hotel could do anything to help celebrate my partner's birthday and they left a box of chocolates with a note! Fantastic from the manager Rika. Pool was better than I expected, it can get rather busy but was nice to stretch the legs. WiFi was awful but it wasn't really a problem, a perfect stay.

its an attractive old hotel in lovely gardens and very handy for going into Windermere. I had a nice which looked as if it had modernised recently. Excellent breakfast

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed an early swim before our breakfast, which was a hot and cold buffet with a great selection. All in all a great overnight stay.

Lovely clean room , warm welcome and friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast and having the swimming pool was a real bonus.
