It has changed since being taken over by RAC.
There is no longer camp fires in front of each safari tent. We spoke with management and they told us to us the community fires.
So we carried all our equipment there and which was so far from our tent, cooked our lunch and were told off as they said there was no fires before 6pm! We said there was no where that stated this and they told us they forgot to put the sign up saying this and would go out it up now.
6pm to start a fire was too late to cook dinner for our young kids. It was dark, cold and the fire wasn’t able to be used until 8pm to cook as we had to wait our turn.
Site works were happening on cabins next to us and the noise was not what we were used to in a “nature” camping experience.
Not friendly, not at all like it used to be.
We won’t be returning.
