For what we paid and needed it for this was fine. And we got an upgraded room and early check in. Breakfast really good too. So thanks. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to make it more appealing though. Pick up rubbish/ beer cans outside. Maybe put some hanging baskets and pots of flowers out. And clean the doors. The door in our room was filthy? There was a dead plant and empty pots in dining room - why? Not complaining- just feedback. Thanks though for a pleasant stay.

So excellent and perfect in every way that we extended our stay. We cant wait to come back, thank you to everyone at The Falcon!

The hotel staff were very helpful, the breakfasts were amazing and the property very well maintained, the bath/shower was a challenge, the screen was fixed and it was hard to adjust the taps and stay dry, or be frozen by cold water until it warmed it needs looking at.

I found the staff exceptionally helpful and kind. A very clean hotel with comfortable beds and lovely breakfast room. A couple of restaurants next door were very useful for an evening meal.

Dated, worn

The hotel itself is okay. Rather dated decor but clean and comfortable. What was disappointing is that the carpark is £10 per night which is very expensive for the area. Also the hotel information card states that breakfast is served from 7:00 till 9:00. I got to the restaurant at 7:30 and was asked to leave and come back at 8 as that's when they will serve breakfast. There are definitely better options in the area so won't be visiting again.

Yes, the door handle was falling off the door.

The hotel is dated and tired. Room was just about usable but toilet seat was hanging off so good job we weren’t there longer. They charge extra for carparking. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately

Found this hotel because it was reasonably priced and in a good area however breakfast included but only served till 9am parkiking was safe but at £10 a day it should be breakfast staff did not speak english but were friendly unlikely to be back

Do not stay here. The hotel owner provides no information as to the £10 per day car park charge until you arrive. Car parking is a must for my business travel. The staff seem generally unhelpful. The carpets in the room were filthy and the towels simply stank. Note there are no drink (tea/coffee) facilities in the room.

Nice hotel, just needs a little updating but clean on first impressions, but our room needed a deep clean and some touching up with paint, overall happy and nice breakfast.

Room was ok apart from the shower could only be set to scolding hot. Breakfast was fairly scant and I felt like somewhat of an inconvenience to the lady serving. Charged £10 parking but could not provide a VAT receipt for this.

Starting with the positives this hotel is in a good location, good breakfast and friendly staff and I fully recommend the Gurkha restaurant next to this hotel. Unfortunately this hotel is let severely down by a he condition of the property which was extremely dated throughout. This was then exacerbated by rips in the curtains, the toilet seat was broken and to complete the trinity the shower head was hanging by a thread from the ceiling. As I am 6’ 4’’ this made showering difficult to say the least. Could be great but let down by the lack of investment in the property!

The hotel is conveniently located, the rooms are very dated and could do with modernising. It is definitely not up to the same standards of a premier inn.
