All perfect except the mattress

The room was cozy, well appointed, with stylish finishings and amenities. Beds were very comfortable service was friendly and professional. Bar/restaurant was also nice for a drink.

After a long week on the road I went down Sat morning for breakfast. The 3 young ladies were in the weeds with only 6 tables. Waited for 10mins at a table not even a glass of water or offer of coffee… really expect more from this hotel. Will look elsewhere on my next trip to Ottawa. This Germain property is just not up to snuff.

La problématique est que nous avons réservé une chambre avec deux grands lits mais les lits étaient plutôt des lits doubles….Le personnel de l’hôtel semblait confus et ne pas comprendre que trois adultes pour deux lits doubles c’est un problème. J’ai été irrité car nous avions bel et bien réservé pour des grands lits. Je suis déçue.

We stayed at this hotel over Christmas and truly enjoyed our time there. The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable — the soundproofing was excellent, which made our stay especially relaxing. We also loved the warm bathroom floor, a small but thoughtful detail that felt wonderful during the winter. The staff were kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. Overall, it felt like a cozy and well-cared-for place, and we would happily stay here again.

Clean room, Staff was exceptional. Parking and accessibility loved everything about the hotel. Surely will be coming back
