전체 평가 및 리뷰 The Alexander Guest House

No personel wellcome. No one available in person at all. No breakfast available since year 2020 despite advertising and specific pricing for breakfast option by EXPEDIA. Garden not usable as in renovation. Ony 1 parking place at premises available. 2 places plocked by building material. Cleanliness poor. Dirty carpet, which needs replacement. No room cleaning at all during 3 days stay. Only 2 trash bins were emptied. In general modern facilities, but: Only one small towel beneth two larger ones for shower. No WC brush for cleaning.

Mediocre

Clean and comfortable and quiet.

Did not see any staff. Book in was by door bell and could not understand person. Television did not work. No facilitiies for food or breakfast. Only one cafe in area, the earl grey cafe, which was very good and we would recommend Room was clean and bed sheets were clean. Managed to get one of two parking spaces.

A good location and felt safe. The check in process was difficult in that we had to ring an intercom twice and were told our passcode number to obtain our key through this intercom. There was no phone number on the Expedia app or online to ring in advance to confirm any booking, etc.

Todo hermoso. Pero necesitábamos toallas secas y almohadas extra y no había nadie que nos pudiera ayudar, enviamos un correo al que nos contactaron para dejarnos la llave y nadie respondió. No tiene A/C. Fallo TREMENDO. Moríamos de calor en la noche.

Room was clean but basic

Didn't like not being able to see or speak to stafff. Given directions of where to get our key through an intercom.

The property was very clean and allowed us in our room early. The only thing I was missing was a fan in the room. There wasn’t a lot of circulation in the room and having to keep curtains closed due to sunlight, it would become hot in room. A small fan would help this. Overall, the room is very nice and right along the bus line to catch into town. Very convenient for traveling.

Not any communication the man just gave us the key at went.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was inside the room itself, which is great. The shower head had a problem causing some of the water to spray in the wrong direction (my face). I hope that this is fixed because it wastes water and could be solved rather easily . We had no contact with the any staff members, but we received enough information to do the check-in and check-out without having any issues.

Beautiful old building. Great area. Rooms were quite nice and clean. Just no staff were ever present in our three night stay. An elderly couple who couldn’t speak English sat in the front lobby, often. I’m not sure if they worked there cleaning rooms or were a guest but if the worked there they made no attempt to communicate or help out, which was an issue because the front door to the building on a busy street was always left open

Large rooms! Convenient for dining and pubs. Friendly staff.

The proprty was lovely inside & out. The room we had for 3 of us was beautiful and clean and we will be coming back next year. Thsnk you

1. Care taker, was not able to speak English. He spoke to me in a Chinese language. 2. Care taker was quite intimidating towards me. 3. I had a rat in my wall which was scratching both nights. Audio recording available. 4. Someone entered my room during the day but only emptied my waste and left it on the floor (see photo)

Unable to speak with any staff. Especially for directions and possible assistance with general information.

De kamer was prima, maar zag wel dat ze volop aan het renoveren waren.
