I had a wonderful stay. A lot of space and my room had an awesome view of the beach and the pier. Was a quick walk to the beach and they offer beach towels and chairs for you to use. Also close to a small store and a couple of places to grab a quick bite to eat. It is a bit of an older property but it is well maintained. The staff is very friendly. I hesitate to review this too well because it’s a relatively small property and I don’t want it to sell out the next time I want to visit.

What a wonderful vacation! We loved the spacious room and small kitchen, though we never cooked…there are too many great options for dining in the area. We especially enjoyed having breakfast at Frenchies Café on the lower level of our building and dinner at Fisherman's Restaurant on the pier. Having a dedicated parking space was a real treat. Our room was ocean view, so we loved sitting on the patio, people watching and hearing the waves crashing. You do hear the trains throughout the day, not at night, but they go through quickly. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Funky older property but nice to be near the beach and have a kitchen. It's a pretty active spot with a lot going on (train crossing that frequently blows train whistle, a trolly bus stop right in front, lots of people accessing the pier and beach. Good food options and great beach access make it mostly worth it.

The property is wonderful; excellent space and right across the street from the beach. The staff is friendly and the views are unmatched.

Just a quick little one day getaway. San Clemente is a great town and the hotel was a very cool and perfect spot to walk to different places and I had an ocean view.

The best location in San Clemente! We stayed in a studio, ocean view and it was perfect - spacious, clean, modern. It has 2 ceiling fans to keep it cool. Great patio and priceless view of the ocean and pier. Yes - it’s a busy spot and can get loud with traffic, train, and people - but we expected it given the location - so no complaints here… (just a warning if you’re looking for peace and quiet by the ocean)

Pros: The room was clean and seemed to be somewhat recently renovated. The view was amazing and the villa we stayed in had a nice sized balcony to enjoy the ocean view. There is a stairway right next to the rooms leading directly to the shops and cafes, then just cross the street to reach the beach and pier. I loved having the kitchenette to store and reheat leftovers. The staff was very friendly. Con’s: My main and biggest complaint was the bed. I have a lot of back/hip pain and prefer a more plush mattress and this one was very hard. There were 4 pillows on the king bed but I tend to sleep with a couple extra. When I requested a few extra pillows I was told they had no more as the rooms were supplied with the allotted amount. After waking up at 3am in pain we ended up running to Target the next morning to buy a foam mattress topper and extra pillows. There is also a train track on the opposite side of the road that we did hear at least once in the middle of the night. There is a barn door for the bathroom that is not sealed so I would not recommend this room for newer couples. You can definitely hear everything that goes on behind that door and even make eye contact with someone on the toilet if you’re at the right angle (my husband likes to make things awkward). My only other minor complaint is the TV. It is hung in the living space with 2 chairs in front of it. The bed is around the corner. It would be nice to have a place to snuggle up and watch a movie/show.

love that it is walkable to pier and beach and a few eateries. cute and comfy decor. Parking is easy as long as you have a compact car. A BBQ or community BBQ is not offered. so the kitchen is limited. Only cooking available with the kitchen is a microwave and a very small cooktop. No oven.The bed could definitely use an upgrade. Staff was very inviting and courteous. The loudness around the property can make it hard to relax and or read a book along with sleeping.

Staff and location was excellent. Older building but well equipped. Water pressure in shower was too low.

Perfect getaway! I loved the private assigned parking since the area was so congested. Beautiful views!

Wonderful view and amenities. The only complaint was the noise of the commuter train.
