Great staff, clean rooms, great location.

Amazing experience. Great staff, very clean hotel, wonderful restaurant (the best hotel restaurant I’ve ever had in my life) and super comfortable beds and pillows. Would very confidently select this as my first choice hotel in St Johns.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, but my wife and I ran into two issues that changed the experience. First, I could not get the TV to work with my Google Chromecast. I spent about an hour and a half trying to set it up, and I use Chromecast at home, so this was not my first time. I called the front desk, but they told me maintenance was not available after 5 pm. To be fair, they were polite and offered us complimentary breakfast, which I appreciated. Second, my wife could not sleep because the mattress felt hard., not as soft as the last time. It got to the point where at 1:30 am she asked me to take her to another place so she could rest. I did, and then I went back to the hotel afterward. What makes this disappointing is that we stayed here before and the mattress was perfect and very comfortable. This time, it just was not the same experience.

Paid $40 to upgrade to a king bed room with a harbour view. Well worth it! Room was not huge, maybe 250 sqft, but big enough for 2 adults. Floor to ceiling harbour view was beautiful. We appreciated being upgraded to a 5th (top floor) suite. Staff were very courteous. Room was very clean, but noticed some dirt buildup underneath the bench in bathroom, nothing major. Roomy walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead. Excellent quality toiletries provided in bathroom. Comfy bed with comfortable linens.
