Front Desk was quick and gentle. Room which was 4th floor was not maintained at all. Cleanliness was major issue floor carpet and headboard was stick and bad odour. Bathtub was chipped and dirty.

While traveling late into the night to assist with electricity restoration after storms our room which we had reserved and had confirmed was given away and cancelled due to overbooking. I will look for any other options in the future

I booked a hotel room in December for the following April. When we arrived at the hotel for our stay we were told we did not have a room because we booked through Expedia. We were given an "economy" room which consisted of a door that did not lock, a broken phone, alarm clock, air conditioner, tv and bathroom door lock. It was fairly clean, but not what I had paid for and/or expected upon arrival. We stayed for two nights and the room was not cleaned in between the two nights.

Showed up and there was no availability. They said dont use expedia next time and sent me on my way.

The hotel itself is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn - clean, but no bells and whistles. Unfortunately, our room did not have a working a/c unit and we asked for maintenance to service the issue or to be moved to another room (we have a baby that would not handle those warm temps well). They were unable to accomodate because they were overbooked. So, we moved hotels. The service was not terrible, it was clear though that the staff was unprepared for issues associated with the overbooking.

The breakfast was delicious and Flo was very accommodating to all our needs. She made sure we had everything we needed before closing up. Very friendly and efficient employee.

Everything was clean and in order as expected. I slept well with minimal noise from other rooms, hallways, etc. Two improvements I would suggest: ditch the long goofy chaise lounge chair in the room and do the kind of wing back chair with ottoman they have at the regular Holiday Inns. It's much more comfortable, practical, etc. Also: Get a bigger television. Express has about 40 inch and regular Holiday Inns have 50s. Just a thought. Also, the tv is not square with the bed. It's off to the left. No biggie but seems silly. And one more: the safety light thing that's in the ceiling. This thing is blinking all night! What the heck? It's 2025. You can't get a safety product that meets code and doesn't blink green light all night, pulsating? Other than that a great place to stay. They're very consistent and the rooms are laid out well for the most part. Thank you.

Hotel is overall clean and the staff that checked us in were very friendly and helpful. There were only two tv channels despite having ~20 cable channels available. Our door had a gap in it and we could see a little bit of the hallway - it seemed to lock perfectly fine. There is paint missing, or poorly patched, on the walls and the light fixtures by the bed were just lightbulbs, no covers. Other patrons were smoking in their rooms, the hallway had a very strong odor because of it. Overall, lack luster considering the price to some of the nicer hotels in town.

Hotel is really nice with really nice staff. The only thing that was not up to par was the pol area. There were no clean towels, the floor was really dirty and the pool looked really foggy. Other than that everything was great.

Thanks again for the stay - good safe area of Kala and the hotel seemed new. No issues with the room or the stay and well lit parking lot

Very efficient staff and clean facility

The pool was closed due to chlorine level being high. I feel like they should know how much chlorine to add. The pool was also closed due to water temp. Seemed they were having issues with the pool that weekend. Also, not every room has blow dryer which was annoying. Otherwise breakfast was good and rooms were nice

Could hear everything and everyone in the hallways. There was a huge gap in the door. Very thin walls. Kids running everywhere. Otherwise, staff was pleasant and helpful, they gave me a band-aide when I cut my finger. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

We made a reservation for this property. When we arrived they asked for my name and saw we had a reservation. Then they had me run my debit card to pay for the room. Then after I paid they proceeded to tell me they didnt have a room for us. Avoid this property at all costs.

It was fabulous
