Very unique atmosphere.

When we arrived at the property we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were however there were stains all over the sheets and when tried to have a shower there was no hot water. When I brought this to the front desk they stated “we will get maintenance to look at it”. When I tried to shower later that day there was still no hot water, I went straight down to the front desk and complained again however this time I was meet with “It’s an old building, it will only be warm not hot”… The water was no where near being warm. We tried to move rooms and/or book another room and I was meet with “that room has heating issues”. I am not sure how any hotel can manage like this and expect guest to be ok with the water being freezing and not giving a compensation or having to continue to give compensation.

Great location for me. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Never disappoint. This is an amazing and unique property and everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast has something for everyone . Great variety . We stay here everytime we come and that’s been often these last 6 months . You won’t be disappointed.

The room itself was very nice and comfortable with a nice view of the lake.

I had a child with me and there were needles outside the property. Shared parking i did not have a parking spot. The pull out bed was on a slope and no cots for my child to sleep on. Plus pull out bed had no sheets or bedding on it. They switched us rooms at 11:30pm to accommodate my child and we seen bugs in the room so i couldnt even sleep there. The breakfast didnt have sausage they had eggs overcooked . Was not pleased didnt eat that morning.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are unique and comfortable.

Love the history of the building.

This is a beautiful property. The charm of the old courthouse has been maintained and it is quite nice. A couple of things put a damper on my stay though. 1- The room was cold and I couldn't get it warm. Not well insulated and the heating was not up to the task. Had the thermostat set to 78 and it never got above 70. 2- No hot water in the morning. Stagger your shower time. The hot water tank/heater, whatever, clearly didn't work well enough.

Lovely old building beautifully redone into a unique hotel. This was our first time staying here and would definitely recommend

Beautiful view, quiet, comfortable but the thermostat was not working. Seemed to be some miscommunication between front desk and maintenance

It was a court house which was developed into a rich, classy, unique,roomy, comfy, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, a wonderful experience. Love this hotel!

It ws good and at the rihht location

It was a great stay, very clean rooms that look like they had a remodeling not to long ago, we will be staying here for now on when we visit thunder bay
