Very clean. Good parking. Not bad breakfast. Would have loved if my window would have opened -

The room smelled like urine and water mold they cleaned the room as they had no other rooms to give me and it smelled like bleach for about an hour then the urine smell came back

I like this new Hotel in Downtown of Fort McMurray. Since 7 years never see this Town and more improvements and I impressed this Hotel to Stay

They advertise a hot tub in the amenities when they do not in fact have one

Great spot, always stay here for work trips.

Hotel is great, new and clean - area around the hotel is so-so. They offer free unground parking which was really convenient. Breakfast was included and was probably one of the worst we’ve ever had. As well, staff at the front desk and kitchen had miscommunicated closing time, leaving several guests without any options. A better solution is to pick up food at Sobey’s a few blocks away. Great pre-made fresh food selection. We stocked our fridge for the next few days. Good dining out options are limited. Walking distance to an amazing recreation facility which pretty much offers everything. It shares the parking lot with a golf course and driving range.

We liked the hot breakfast and coffee in the morning. But half this property is residential so it can be loud with dogs barking and couples arguing, etc. Our bedding was stained with blood. Carpet in the hallway looked like it was stained with feces. The hottub was also out of order which was disappointing.

It is a beautiful hotel.

The hotel itself is fantastic, clean and comfortable. The front staff was welcoming and helpful. I booked the hotel after visiting a sick friend and wanted to treat myself to a hot tub or steam. I booked it based on this and when I showed up both the hot tub and steam room were down apparently for quite some time now. The room was $180 for the night, 2 hours later it went down $25, so not impressed with the rate. False advertisent does prevent me from booking at the hotel in the future.

Don’t know why but took 30 minutes to check in. Then found out we had the wrong room. Got another room and it was wrong. Third time around we got the room we reserved. Still haven’t got an email receipt back so not sure what I was charged. They need more training. The girl seemed confused.

The hotel is very nice inside, very clean, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay, but it closes early, even on weekends, so there is no option to sleep in if you plan to have the breakfast. It also needed some fruit and vegetable options. I did not like that only disposal paper or plastic cups were available at the breakfast as well as in the rooms. I imagine the hotel has a lot of waste. Our stay would have been better if the hot tub was working.

Nice stay-cation for pur anniversary. I was disappointed the sauna and hot tub were not working. One of the main reasons we booked here.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. My king size room was spacious, quite and very clean. My only quibble is that the breakfast served was very basic with minimal selections however the coffee was good and hot. If I get back to Fort McMurray I'll definitely consider staying at the Pomeroy again.

Some ammenities not consistent (ie. make up remover, wash cloth and mouth wash in one room and not in another). No microwave in the room. No chairs or towel hooks by the hot tub. Wipes in work out room empty. Breakfast was very good. Room was spacious and comfortable. Robes were nice to go to hot tub with. Clean and quiet. Check and Check out were very good.

First night we stayed room had lots of pet hair but staff was ready right away to give us a clean room satisfied with the stay.
