We had an amazing stay at this resort. From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. The scenery was beautiful, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy ourselves. The food was great throughout our stay, with plenty of options and consistently good quality. The staff was also outstanding — friendly, helpful, and always making sure guests were taken care of. You can tell they take pride in creating a great experience. Between the views, the service, the food, and the overall comfort of the resort, we truly enjoyed every part of our stay. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

It was an incredible holiday! The pools, grounds, rooms and the buffet were so good! Love the bus transport to the mall! Very huge hotel.. get prepared to walk!

Unglaublich freundliches Personal, schöne Zimmer mit sehr grossen und gemütlichen Betten. Das Buffet ist für ein Buffet ziemlich gut, und die À-la-carte-Restaurants am Abend sind sehr gut, mit einer Auswahl an japanischer, mexikanischer, französischer und italienischer Küche. Auch Pool und Strand sind sehr schön. Im Sommer gibt es allerdings jeweils etwas viele Algen, was jedoch generell ein Problem in der Region ist.

This resort is very modern, spacious and clean. Nice clean pools overlooking the white sandy beach. Plenty of pool chairs under shades. Amazing buffet for breakfast and lunch with a lot of different options (gluten free and vegan included) . For dinner, make sure you reserve your seats at one of the 5 restaurants onsite, or you can go to another one of the Barcelo resorts. They have a bus running every 10-15 min to take you around all the different resort facilities (mall, gym, spa, nightclub). If you're looking for a party resort, this is not it. Daily activities include: games, aqua aerobics, volleyball. They have live shows every evening. I very much enjoyed the 3 opera type singers that one evening (they were very good!). The only drawback was the lack of service around the pool area. Great massages as well.

Everything was great

The staff were really professional and helpful with any questions I had, polite and no language barrier. Restaurants were top notch and the servers went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Beautiful pools with pool bars made it to easy not to enjoy yourself and the beach was out of this world with enough shade from the palm trees and plenty of chairs for everyone. Rooms were very clean with daily maid service and refreshments stocked in the mini fridge. Overall, it's just a perfect place to let the stress out and relax, I have been there four times now and can't wait to return!

Loved it! Beautiful property and access to the other sister properties was excellent. We had fun riding go-karts!

The staff was careless and the experience was below average. Drinks were cheap. Food was tasteless and not well prepared.

Absolutely beautiful with the best resort dining.

The pool was not as clean the room was great but people were smoking pot outside at the room next to us, I complained. The staff was 1st class to many people smoking cigarettes We won’t be going back so sad because we have been going there since they opened

Very classy resort I give it 5 stars all around..

The food is mid at best. It’s not about being fancy it’s just low quality and room service is horrendous.

The infinity pool was very large and spacious. Not over crowded. Everything was clean, well maintained, and just fantastic.

I loved everything about the property. Easily walkable and so beautifully thought out. All the staff were very helpful, attentive, and friendly. The pool was a nice enough temperature to cool you down but not freezing, and it was so expansive there was room for everyone. It was nice to see them cleaning the pool throughout the day to keep it as fresh as possible. Our room was perfectly presented, clean, and had everything we could possibly need. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and so my husband and I were given a room upgrade, which made our stay even more outstanding, but we were even treated to champagne and chocolate strawberries on our arrival and on our last evening we were gifted more treats. We couldn’t have felt more special.

Very clean and beautiful property!! Love the view of the Caribbean from our pool! Love how spacious the pool area is and the activity staff does a tremendous job entertaining your guests!! Our second time at Barcelo Riviera Maya and won’t be our last!! Love it!!!
