This property is being refurbished and during the day there is constant noise of drilling and banging. The walls of my room were vibrating from the drilling which seemed to be directly above. I received no advance warning of this work and it is not detailed in Expedia’s information about the place. The work starts promptly at 8.30 in the morning although Iheard builders moving around and talking at around 6.50am, which is unacceptable. In addition, there was no hot water on my second morning. Whilst the room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and apologetic, I would stay away from here until all the refurbishment has been completed.

Friendly Staff, really nice room. Few minor items in disrepair but room is really clean and was worth the money.

Everything about the stay I couldn’t fault it

On arrival we were upgraded to newly refurbished room and the room was very nice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and just outside the village of Wrea Green with plenty of car parking. My only criticism is the evening food menu was a little on small side but the food we did have was very tasty and well cooked. Would I go back? Oh yes!!

Just back a lively weekend away at The Villa. Staff fantastic, hotel under goung refurb work but did not cause us any issues. Manager Caitlyn has the best Customer Service skills I have come across for years. Bar could do with better choice of wines but plenty selection of other drinks and bar staff were helpful and polite. All in all a fabulous place to be

We stayed at the Villa for 2 weeks. The staff are exceptionally friendly and can’t do enough for you especially Caitlin the Reception Manager and all her Team and also the lovely bar staff Ian and Gosia sorry there were others too but I failed to get their names. The rooms are very clean again the cleaning staff are extremely friendly. The food we ate in the restaurant was very enjoyable. We stayed in the disabled room which is a little tired and in need of updating but the new owners are already in the process of renovating the rooms. The hotel is dog friendly and is set in beautiful grounds. Would definitely recommend this hotel 5*

Friendly and professional staff who were very helpful.

Staff were very friendly and the family room was a good size. The price was excellent for what we got. The breakfast selection was great specially for the kids.

Room was fantastic ( stayed in the Buckingham room 32 with 4 poster bed ) evening meals ( menu been cut massively) different to whats available online no longer do small sausages wirh hollandaise sause 😪 but what we ordered was fantastic.The breakfast has gone a little down hill only 1 sausage now fatty bacon and the tomato definitely not grilled more microwaved or boiled. Staff friendly as ever👍

The room wasn't very clean, around four ladybirds on the window sill the bathroom floor in the corner behind the door was dirty and outside of the toilet was dirty on the bowl. Parking was fine, need more bins for doggy waste. The majority of staff were great but you always get one receptionist that doesn't listen and knows best.

Staff are amazing. The breakfast staff stand out as they are willing to bend over backwards to help with anything. Area is lovely and quiet.

The staff were excellent and it was good value foroney.
