Quaint, old inn and rooms. Modern features like rain shower head, lighted mirror, electric teakettle. Comfortable beds. Very convenient to town center and shops. Wonderful food. Friendly staff.

Warm welcome. Rooms not overly large, but very well appointed, decent sized bathroom, all requirements for a few nights stay, comfortable beds and linen. Downstairs bar and restaurant area spacious and staffed by friendly, cheerful and helpful people. Food good with lots of choice. Outside courtyard plenty of room and good seating.

Very quant old building in the centre of Petworth village. The rooms are very clean, nicely designed with beautiful bathrooms. Mind your head! As a very old building the stairs are narrow and uneven as may present a challenge for folks with limited mobility.

This is barely a 3 star hotel. very hot and small room. Bed not comfortable. The place is tired...needs painting...very shabby inside and out

Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms

We only stayed one night and arrived late, the kitchen had just closed but still offered Cheese and crackers, which was nice and went the bottle of red we had bought. Lovely room, comfy bed. Would I stay there again, Yes.

Very cute property. Clean and very friendly service and good location. Had to get used to those low doorway heights. Bumped my head a few times! But overall a really nice place to stay.

Lovely hotel. Comfortable room and good food in the restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff. Only slight negatives were the lock on the bedroom door which was temperamental and difficult to operate, and room was hot as window opening was restricted.

We stayed for 1 night after having dinner in the restaurant! The dinner was excellent from the food to the service! The room was comfortable and clean with tea & coffee supplied! The only fault I could find is doors banging in the night as people came & went but apart from that an excellent stay!

I booked one night at the Angel Inn, Petworth, as I had to be in the area for work. Coincidentally, it was St. Valentine's day, so I brought my partner Bev along with me. We had the best stay at the Angel Inn, all the staff were amazing, the proprietor Bill was great fun, nothing was a problem and we had a tremendous time. The rooms are beautiful, the shower had the best pressure of any shower I've ever witnessed, and the food was fabulous! The seafood sharing platter starter was a feast in itself, and the steak main was perfectly cooked. There was also a wonderful Jazz duo entertaining us. Breakfast was also brilliant, the poached eggs I had were equal to the poached eggs I had at The Ritz. The Angel Inn was so good, after we checked out we both thought it a good idea to stay there again the following night. So we did. And it was equally wonderful. Thank you to the Angel Inn and their staff for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back! A real credit to the pub & hospitality industury. Bravo!

Superb hotel - great food, friendly staff, amazing decor and ambiance, easy walking distance to Petworth House and the delightful town

We enjoyed our stay at the Angel Inn. The room was spacious and comfortable and ours had a modern ensuite bathroom. The food at breakfast and dinner was very good with a wide choice. Overall, a very nice old building with loads of character, within walking distance of everything Petworth has to offer.

We were here just the one night but would like it to have been longer. We ate in the dining room and were extremely full after a starter and main and couldn't go on to dessert!

We had a nice one night stay, the Inn was smart and clean, it has a lovely garden. The staff were great. Our room was a lovely period room, very cosy but the bathroom was very modern, best of both worlds. We had a very nice breakfast in the garden, all in all a nice place to be.
