Nice place cute clean not far from town with awesome views

Very small intimate cabin - hubby bumped his head due to the low overhead space leading up the stairs. We had an issue due to the unseasonably warm weather but when we contacted the owners they were very responsive and helpful. Overall a very nice stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Sunnuhlid - the house was cosy, clean, well-equipped, and well placed for exploring the local area. The views are beautiful, and the owners are very attentive. We will definitely be back!

Petite maison tres confortable, depuis laquelle la vue sur les montages et le fjord est sublime. Idéale pour observer les aurores boréales, située a une dizaine de minute d’Akureyri, au calme dans la nature. Tres bon souvenir.

Was a perfect stay for our trip around the island. Great views from the place and we saw the northern lights very brightly here.

We loved staying here. More spacious than most properties for 2. Very warm and even has an area where we could get our clothes dry from the trip to Forest Lagoon, which is super close by the way. It had all we needed, except for a microwave oven, which I believe is a must. But we managed. Space may be a bit reduced, but that is expected in an accommodation for 2. We loved having a living area as well. Close enough to Akureyri and great spot for a stop before continuing on ring road.

Very comfortable with almost everything: a sofa, refringerator, small kitchen with dual stoves, dinning table, etc. the beds are on 2nd floor; plenty of room. Very nice view out of the window. We love this place.

Site exceptionnel !

Sehr schönes alleinstehendes Häuschen mit allem was man braucht. Wir waren durch einen Schneesturm einen Tag komplett an das Haus gebunden, was aber durch zwei Etagen gar kein Problem war. Ansonsten super weite Aussicht auf den Fjord und die dahinterliegenden Berge. Die Schubladen und Schränke hätte man vor dem Aufenthalt nochmals richtig sauber machen können, ansonsten war die Bettwäsche, der Boden und das Bad sehr sauber.

We had a wonderful stay and saw the northern lights right out our back door. Spotless warm and comfortable. Winter can play havoc with the roads so beware. There is no tv or microwave- did not bother us as the WiFi was great with our phones

This small house is comfortable and convenient. The property owner kept the roads clear following snowfall so that we could easily get to town for groceries. Even on Christmas Day he did this task as most of us laid about reading.

This property is unique with an incredible view. Access was easy with the instructions received. You can book without hesitation! Thank you again :)

Een schattig tiny huisje met alles erop en eraan. Gelegen langs de fjord er was zelfs een verrekijker aanwezig. Beneden woonkamer boven slapen.

Nettes kleines Haus mit Panoramablick und sehr guter zentraler Lage für viele Ausflüge im Norden

An amazing place with stunning mountain and sea views. Super cozy. A hidden gem near Akureyri. Only 10-15 minutes drive to town. Friendly owner. Will stay again. Highly recommended.
