전반적으로 너무 좋았습니다. 숙소는 너무 좋은데 주변엔 즐길만한게 없어요. 돌핀투어하고 숙소에서만 즐겨보세요. 밥은 매우 쏘쏘한 편입니다.

2박3일 숙박했고 전반적으로 매우 훌륭한 서비스를 경험했습니다. 특히 레스토랑 음식의 질은 유럽 상급 레스토랑에도 뒤지지 않는다고 생각합니다. 5성급 호텔에 어울리는 훌륭한 서비스였습니다. 다만 잔지바르의 낙후된 사회경제적 환경이 이 훌륭한 호텔에 대한 접근성을 저해하고 있습니다. 잔지바르의 교통 인프라는 매우 낙후되어 잔지바르 공항에서 이 호텔을 연결하는 정기적인 대중교통수단은 없다시피 합니다. 에어컨을 켜주는 택시를 탈 수 있으나 차량이 낡았고, 호텔에서 공항까지의 교통편을 제공하긴 하나 엄청나게 비싼 요금을 지불하여야 합니다. 또한 주변 눙위 마을 주민들의 생활도 매우 열악하여, 호텔의 럭셔리한 서비스와 극과 극의 대조를 보입니다. 눙위 해변은 매우 아름다우나 눙위 마을에서는 관광으로 즐길만한 것들이 거의 없다고 봐도 됩니다. 에스쿠 잘루 호텔은 누추한 잔지바르 섬 안에서도 환상적인 경험을 제공하는 섬과 같습니다. 호텔에 가기는 멀고 불편합니다. 하지만 만약 당신이 호텔에 갈 수 있다면 분명 만족할 거라고 생각합니다.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Hotel. Wir können das Zimmer mit Meerblick wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist sehr geräumig und man wacht morgens mit einem tollen Blick auf. Das Hotel ist der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Vom Pool hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf das Meer. Bei Bedarf kann man auch den kostenlosen, täglichen Shuttle zu einem sehr schönen Strand (Kendwa) in der Nähe nutzen. Beim dortigen Hotel zahlt man 10$ "Eintritt" pro Person und bekommt eine Liege. Die 10$ kann man aber direkt als Kredit an der Bar für Getränke und Essen nutzen. Alle Mitarbeiter/innen im Essque Zalu Hotel waren sehr freundlich. Meine Frau hat eine kleine Torte zum Geburtstag bekommen, was sehr schön und aufmerksam war (vielen Dank nochmal an das Team)! Da wir nur Frühstück gebucht hatten, was ebenfalls gut war, konnten wir abends die verschiedenen Restaurants im Umkreis probieren und können auch diese sehr empfehlen. Dorthin läuft man ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

Very satisfied with the hotel and the service. A lovely pool area with a great pool bar. Our stay at the hotel was perfect for us.

Service was slow, except at their main restaurant. Also, I really missed bacon and pork choices at breakfast. This resort caters to an international clientele. I feel they should have been made available.

Had a absolutely beautiful stay. The rooms are beautiful and the staff was amazing. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options at the buffet.

The hotel is a bit dated. The food is mediocre. If you want a beach to swim in they do not have one. You will need to be transported to another beach where you will have to pay for seats. For the price you are better off staying in a hotel with a beach you can swim in. There are much better options in more convenient areas. This hotel is out of the way and not close to anything. Everything is at least an hour away or more. I would not stay at the hotel.

This is not a family friendly property. The playarea looks like it was never updated. The activities listed never happened. Hilariously, there was a total of 1 ONE highchair in the entire resort. While some of the staff did their best to accommodate out requests, most of them either did not know their tasks and the rest forgot their tasks.

Excellent stay in Essque Zalu Hotel with our family. The view, the food and the peaceful atmosphere was just amazing. It was beyond our expectations for our first trip to Zanzibar Thanks a lot Amina for taking good care of us during our amazing stay at Essque

Very nice and peaceful resort. The jetty restaurant had nice food and hotel staff a very nice and accommodating. Moureen from reception is amazing. We hope to visit again soon

The place was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the food was good however, we were given a room that had no working phone even though we booked months in advance. The food tasted great but sometimes the dinner was cold! The noise from the renovations was distracting and the closed off parts of the resort were an inconvenience as we were not able to fully enjoy the property. The staff however was superb!

The staff are unaccommodating. The internet is poor in the rooms and limited in the common areas around the property so if you need to access the internet for an extended period forget about it. We were told daily that someone would come fix the internet. I asked for space that I could do some business on my computer, just quiet and good internet access, simple answer was “we don’t have that” as I walked by an empty conference room. The air conditioner in the room might as well been non-existent as the fan is the only breeze and air circulation in the room. And the ceiling fan was missing in the bedroom. My friend’s door lock was not working in the evening and the solution for the problem was “you can’t leave your room” until staff is able to fix it the next day. The hotel itself is out of the way from major attractions so be prepared to spend for taxi services. I would not use the hotel transportation as it was more than half the price than a local car service. For example, the Rock restaurant will be $200 plus a waiting fee. I found the Paje area is suited better for travelers. The grounds and entertainment lackluster. The food is fair but lacked options but get there early as birds and flies swarm the dining area but no one seems to acknowledge.
