Conveniently situated just a three-minute walk from Village Market, the hotel offers easy access to a vibrant mix of unique boutiques, local artisans, and an array of fantastic restaurants. From the moment I was picked up at the airport, the service was exceptional. My “Chieftain” — the wonderful Barbara — took the time to ask about my preferences for the trip and offered thoughtful, tailored recommendations. She even accompanied me on a Friday shopping trip and arranged for special items to be delivered directly to my room. The atmosphere at Tribe is a perfect blend of modern luxury and eco-conscious design. Striking artwork throughout the property evokes a sense of awe, while the serene, nature-inspired setting creates a feeling of calm and retreat. Be sure to visit the indoor-outdoor restaurant. I highly recommend the seafood soup — a perfectly balanced dish bursting with rich, layered flavors that truly delighted the palate. Having tasted fish soups in renowned culinary cities like Lyon and Marseille, I can confidently say Tribe’s version holds its own — compliments to the chef! The true gem of the experience, however, is the staff. Friendly, courteous, and genuinely attentive, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure every detail was just right. I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Nairobi — and there’s no question where I’ll be staying.

Tribe is a great hotel, had a brilliant culture, and serves fantastic food They even offered is a complimentary late room check out as I had a late flight back to the up on my last day in Nairobi An added advantage is that you can use the heated top floor pool at the sister hotel ‘Trademark’ which adjoins the neighboring Mall, we took full advantage of that option We arrived late on the first day so had to settle for the room service menu, it was the best quality room service menu that I have ever experienced

I have stayed at The Tribe a handful of times now and I am never disappointed. The property is always clean, my room was very nice and clean, I love the menu selection, especially the healthy choices on the breakfast menu. I would like to recognize all of the restaurant staff, and Virginia in Housekeeping especially for being so friendly and accomodating to me and my son during our stay. Very clean and safe hotel. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating!

Room was very clean with a great shower. Easy walk to the nearby Village Market mall.

I loved everything about this property. The staff the facilities - it was all wonderful. And so close to the mall where we could get out and stretch our legs!! Highly recommend

Staff were warm and hospitable. The breakfast was tasty.

I had an amazing stay at Tribe! The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and I loved the shower. I enjoyed my time and relaxation at the spa where I got a 10/10 massage and spent time in the sauna. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating as well. Special shoutout to Tony, John , Desdario, Blair , Sheraline, and Linet. Your kindness during my stay did not go unnoticed and I really appreciated your contributions to my great stay. I will be staying here every time I’m in Nairobi! Thank you, Tribe!

Great place to stay before heading to Safari. The food was amazing and bed was perfect!

the team is friendly in general but there has been many service issues that did not meet my expectations having paid a lot of money for the stay, not value for money, First room was very noisy, they changed next day to lower ground which was more quite from outside but the house keeping staff were very noisy, the replenishment of coffee and other amenities were not consistent, the laundry I sent came back not very clean and smelled awkward, the billing was an issue as I paid 20% on your website but it did not appear so if I did not pay attention I would of paid more money. they need a lot of improvement for the price paid. one good thing about it is the good quality of food in general especially in executive lounge.

Great art in building. Architecture of hotel beautiful. Service of rooms exceptional. Chocolates on pillow shockingly tasty. Food in restaurant ver nice. Not good gluten free options though. Shuttle service leaving hotel great. Getting shuttle service to return a bit dicier but Uber is ver available.

EVERYTHING was amazing about this property. I can’t speak on just one thing. If your looking for an over the top experience, this is definitely the place. I can’t wait, to come back and enjoy this property and staff soon. Thanks again for being a great host. Best birthday trip thus far and I owe it to everyone at this award winning property!

Second time here. Outstanding service by all staff. Specially Mary who went out of her way to make sure that every need was taken care of and followed up to ensure we were ok. She could teach a master class in hospitality . Thank you Mary
