다소 옛날 분위기에 옛날 가구 그래도 리조트 자체가 자연적 벌레가 좀 있음

Great hotel, staff and very clean

Oasis in poor area of Mauritius. Our taxi driver warned us against going on the beach at night due to a recent horrific incident. The area looks poor, stray dogs, lots of rubbish and rubble. However la pirogue is a bubble of loveliness, landscaped gardens, direct access to glorious beach. Nightly activity programme, food was generally very good with plenty of variety. Most staff very friendly and helpful especially if leaving a tip. Pool very cold. Additional activities offered very good: walk, snorkelling, kayaking. Taxi drivers at hotel very helpful and you can just about get everywhere from the hotel although seems there’s just the one main road so traffic can be bad.

Die Anlage ist traumhaft konzipiert. Von unserem Gartenbungalow in wenigen Schritten zum wunderschönen Strand. Bei den Mahlzeiten sehr viel Auswahl, alles wunderbar.

Nous avons été très déçus par cet hôtel qui réunit un grand nombre d’avis positifs auxquels nous nous sommes fiés pour réserver. Le lieu est absolument magnifique et c’est très dommage que les hébergements ne soient pas entretenus à la hauteur de l’endroit. L’accueil du personnel est variable, certains sont adorables et à votre service et d’autres beaucoup moins. Nous avons trouvé que c’était très cher par rapport aux prestations proposées.

We had a great 10 day honeymoon at La Pirogue. They were very accommodating at the beginning and end of holiday giving us a spare room to shower in. The food everg day was incredible. Cocktails lovely. No extra hidden charges. We played crazy golf and used the sports facilities too. Would definitely recommend and we will be back soon!

Top Hotel - im jeder Beziehung !! Vor allen die quali der Speisen ist hervorragend. Ebenso der Service, sehr gut. Die Lage ist traumhaft, besser geht es kaum. Unter dem Strich ein eher 5 Sterne Hotel, das wir absolut empfehlen können !!

Adjoining garden bungalows were good for us with our two teenage children. A dated resort. Convenient for beach. We spent a lot of time at Sugar Beach which is the sister hotel as they had more to offer. Drinks and food was a strange set up at Sugar Beach with certain areas for certain staff. Padel was very expensive. Spa facial was good but not a great welcome. Staff weren't overly friendly as our previous resort were.

Wonderful location, awesome facilities and bungalows, great staff and service.

Stayed for 4 nights at end of 3 week stay visiting nearby family. The resort, rooms and restaurants are all very good and we had a lovely relaxing stay. The grounds are extremely well kept and our daughters loved taking part in all the available activities. We stayed in a garden bungalow adjacent rooms on all inclusive package. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping daily was appreciated. The resort is large and spread out so might not be suitable if you dont like walking but this did not bother us. Only minor suggestion we would make is to have organised the Wolmar dining tables better so we didnt have to wait for tables 2 nights. We would happily come and stay again in the future.

I would give a rating of the 4.8 out of 5. There were some hiccups at reservations but the SunLife manager was excellent and stepped in to fix everything. The setting with the palm trees and beach was superb, the breakfast buffet and Mauritian dinner buffet were excellent and the best thing was the warmth, hospitality and thoughtfulness of the staff. The only drawback was the stray dogs on the property.

Fantastic food and very friendly staff. Nice gym and sports centre. Great with water sports included.

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub im La Pirogue. Die Zimmer waren sauber, das Personal war freundlich, es waren viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme vorhanden, das Essen war lecker und abwechslungsreich, Wir empfehlen das La Pirogue weiter.

Sehr schöne ältere Anlage mit wunderbaren Palmen. Sehr viele Gäste aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum. Beach Pavilion Unterkunft etwas stickig. Schlafkomfort mittelmässig.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cet hôtel. Un voyage de rêve. Tout était parfait : l’accueil, la prestation de service, la chambre typique spacieuse et propre, les espaces communs (piscine, restaurants), la grande plage privée depuis laquelle nous regardons les plus beaux couchers de soleil… Un séjour paradisiaque que nous n’oublierons jamais. Nous étions en demi-pension et avons pu bénéficier du buffet les soirs (nous avons très bien mangé et avons pu goûter à certaines spécialités mauriciennes) et au petit-déjeuner qui était très complet. Certaines activités étaient comprises dans notre séjour comme le kayak, paddle et pédalo. L’emplacement de l’hôtel nous a également permis de randonner au Morne Brabant qui se trouve à environ 1h de voiture et de visiter la terre aux 7 couleurs de Chamarel. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins avec ses clients, ce qui rend le séjour vraiment agréable. Il s’agit du plus bel hôtel dans lequel nous avons séjourné, et nous ne regrettons pas d’avoir dépensé ce prix. Je recommande fortement cet hébergement.
