The hotel is in bad state. The room windows looked unto a metal fence with people walking by (what would it take to landscape it?). The pool deck was in pretty bad shape and in parts covered up with plastic turf. What is offered does not match the fee charged

Das Zimmer war riesig mit einer kleinen Küche und Balkon zum Strand. Leider alles in einem eher desolaten Zustand, mal vom Bett abgesehen. Es gab weder einen Fön noch einen Wasserkocher um sich schnell einen Kaffee/Tee zu machen. Steckdosen sind auch Mangelware und haben nur britisches Format.Die Grünanlagen ziemlich verbrannt, der Pool macht keinen einladenden Eindruck und auch kein direkter Strandzugang (war verschlossen). Das Frühstücksbuffet war etwas enttäuschend. Wer indisches Frühstück mag, kommt aber auf seine Kosten. Als Kaffee gibt's nur löslichen Kaffee. Mit Kreditkarte konnte ich nicht bezahlen, angeblich sei die Maschine kaputt. Ich solle doch Geld aus dem Automaten ziehen. Nein, ich glaube ich werde dieses Hotel nicht erneut buchen. Schade eigentlich, denn die Anlage hätte Potential.

Abends angekommen, konnte man zuerst unsere Buchung nicht finden. Es war jedoch kein Problem uns gemäß Buchung ein Zimmer der besten Kategorie zu geben. Die Zahlung hatte sofort in bar zu erfolgen. Leider hatte das Zimmer incl. eines sehr kleinen Balkons nur ca 19 qm statt der in der Beschreibung genannten 25 qm was anhand der Fliesen leicht festzustellen war. Davon gehen dann noch ca 4 qm für den Badbereich ab.

The hotel was ok considering the price, but since the price was very low, so was the standard. Breakfast was good and there was a gym and pool area. Our room was situated on the wrong side of an one-way fire escape door- so to get to the lobby one had to go out on the street. Strange in my opinion.

Nice location, really friendly staff. Convenient place to stay for a road trip or when passing through Sur.

Expensive for this kind of hotel. I wasn't able to sleep as you can hear from your room all the kids running in the corridor.. Very ugly pool and cheap hotel.

hotel modesto, ma nella città di sur non vi sono molte alternative di livello superiore la nostra camera (306) doveva avere la vista sulla spiaggia, ma in realtà la dista dava su un muro di cinta oltre in quale forse c'era la spiaggia... siamo arrivati la sera tardi e ripartiti il mattino seguente, quindi è andata bene cosi... colazione discreta

Nothing special about this place. The room was old and drab. We only stayed one night and didn’t use any of the outdoor facilities so can’t speak to that, but we were unimpressed with the room. The shower had barely any water pressure and spilled out onto the bathroom floor because there was no shower door. The rest of the night we had to wear our shoes because of how slippery the floor got.

The hotel is a good basis to.explore Sur and surroundings. There is a nice.swimmingpool and it is located next tp the beach/ sea (not good for swimming). What makes this hotel outstanding is the excellent service offered by its friendly people. Special thanks to Mr Hilal Al Balushi who made my stay in Oman unforgettable! I should also mention that they have a nice hotel in Ras Al Hadd, which is not listed on hotels.com.

We are satisfied overall with the hotel as we had only 1 night there. the check in staff were friendly and we were told one price for the breakfast. But when we had breakfast the next morning, the price was different and the person in charge in the Breakfast room was not friendly at all.

The hotel is nice, but needs some TLC. Our windows in the room were pretty grimy (from the sea?) and we had to request a kettle... then cups... then spoons for our room. The staff were nice and helpful though. The breakfast was pretty average. It’s a cheap and cheerful hotel that could do with a little updating.
