It was nice hotel. Clean and luxury....If I visit Zambia again, I will stay at Taj Pamodzi Hotel again.

It was nice. All employees are kind and room condition was nice.

Very friendly staff but poor condition of the hotel due to renovations- extremely noisy- the hotel should have warned about that in advance- impossible to stay at the hotel between 9 am and around 5 pm - the hotel offered no discount or advance notice regarding the renovations

Sehr leckeres Frühstücks- u. Dinnerbuffet! Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter!!! Die Zimmer sind etwas abgewohnt, aber gut in Schuss. Netter Balkon, aber ohne Sitzgelegenheit. Es gibt immer wieder mal Probleme mit der Klimaanlage und Warmwasser. Das Hotel wird im Moment von oben nach unten kernsaniert, deshalb kann es von 8-16 Uhr etwas laut sein.

Regrettably the hotel is under renovation so all facilities are close except one restaurant and the lounge. Besides all the noise during the day.

I wasn’t informed of the renovations and so it was very noisy. The rooms were clean though but there was a lot of drilling and building noise all day long. I also was unable to swim because pool was being renovated too. Restaurant was great.

Pamodzi is under new ownership and the soon to be Hyatt-affiliated property is undergoing substantial redevelopmemt, both inside and out. (So, there can be construction noise.) Current pluses: while oringinally built in 1979 and showing some age, the rooms are a good size, well eqipped, aircon and electricity reliable, and rooms are quiet (it was a solidly built hotel). Wifi worked consistently for 4 days, and staff were responsive. Excellent chicken quesadilla (a new dish on the menu). Location is good for government and business meetings. Minor issues: ongoing construction, prices are a bit high, especially for breakfast buffett, and there are signs of age. But this will be a significantly rejuvenated property in 6-12 months.

Great hotel in Central Lusaka, half an hour from the airport (600 kwachi cab ride). Feels upscale. Good food in the restaurants and breakfast buffet. Clean room, nice and quiet, good neighborhood, surprisingly affordable. I stayed two nonconsecutive nights and had an equally excellent experience both times.

I was there for business for 3 x days - the hotel is very outdated and tired. I stayed in a suite and it was much to be desired.

I think it was way affordable now than it used to be and so large families with kids stayed there. The kids kept running up and down the hall keeping my baby awake. The name and brand of the Taj was so high that not any family can afford it, so that was disappointing. I could have paid extra for peace. In addition , my bathing water was cold both days after asking them to fix it many times. Pretty disappointing

The excellent staff and service is what sets this hotel apart. The masala dosa in the morning is a highlight. Unfortunately, the rooms are showing their age and upgrades are needed. I have stayed at the hotel 4 times now. There was no hot water and the toilet would take 1 hour to refill the tank after flushing. Hopefully a renovation is in the works.

The hotel was OK however the room I stayed had an old carpet which seemed damp. And whenever electricity went off and they switched on the generator, the wifi in my room would go off.

Ein wirklich schönes und gut gepflegtes Hotel mit Stil. Leider ist der Pool gerade wegen Umbauarbeiten nicht benutzbar. Ich konnte aber nach einigen Verhandlungen den Pool im benachbarten Southern Sun Hotel benutzen.

The hotel is in an ideal location. Great view of the city. The pricing was Great. I know that once it is up dated this will be increased.

I had a very bad time there because the two night I was there, we didn’t have power in our rooms only few rooms had power and the others not ! So I didn’t enjoy my time there! This was sad
