According to the details provided by Hotels.com, the breakfast buffet is about 8 euros per person but actually 800 MUR (about 20 euros) per person. Who is responsible for the notice? I had to pay more than expected and didn't feel good. But the room condition and resort atmosphere were good.

Le Preskill island resort is nestled by a crystal-clear lagoon on the south east coast of Mauritius. What I liked most about the hotel is the stunning sea view, mountain, additional facilities, restaurant, and the overall atmosphere. The hotel's customer service is truly exceptional. The staff ( Alain, Mackline, Shenaz, Deepak, Ravi Sankonah, Ravi Teelwah, Chrisna, Anand, Pravin, Cindy ) were great, very welcoming and helpful. The food was terrific. The restaurant serves Mediterranean, local, Asian, and European cuisines. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and the amenities were top-notch, with friendly staff, so I would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a 9-nights stay at the Preskil Island Resort (in a Prestige Room with sea view). Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5. We got a great welcome by the concierge and butler - and then the view of the sea. Wauw! Furthermore, we were lucky to get the room earlier than expected (already at 9AM instead of 2PM). Furthermore, we were lucky to get a room “far away” (approx. 300 meters) from the main building, which where it is more quite and less windy - just perfect for us. A clear recommendation to the Resort is to add parasoles to these rooms with a small private garden area. However, no information about the facilities (activities like tennis and water sports and how/where to borrow equipment and how/when to book a table in restaurants) was shared upon arrival/check-in. Included in the price was daily delivery of water bottles (2x 0.5 liters). This was super nice. But the time of delivery varied between 11AM and 4PM. Not super reliable if you are thirsty. One day we reached out to the reception four times about missing water refill, where we got the standard reply “we will send the responsible person immediately” - which took several hours. We had dinner both at restaurants Rendez-vous (the buffet) and Mosaic. Overall, the food is fine and the variety is great. We can recommend the pizzas in the buffet. However, we found it a little annoying when we saw a clear “upgrade” on the food (better quality and greater variety) during weekends vs. everyday (Monday-Thursday). Apparen

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Despite paying for an all-inclusive package, I was told that i would be charged extra for a simple mocktail — even though it contained no alcohol. On top of that, a restaurant on the property were not included in the package, which defeats the purpose of booking all-inclusive in the first place. Service was equally frustrating. I received a phone call at 10am, waking me up, just to be told I had to vacate the room by 11am — something that could have been communicated more politely or earlier without disturbing my rest. Staff seemed indifferent and unwelcoming throughout my stay. I couldn't help but feel that my Mauritian passport may have influenced how I was treated, even though I reside in the UK. This is the most unprofessional hotel experience I’ve had, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Overall, very disappointing as I was looking forward to my stay.

The main bar staff were a bit all over the place, serving the wrong people first and just walking off when people were waiting to be served, but other than that it was perfect!

Les chambres de l’hôtel sont spacieuses et agréables, les plages et le lagon sont magnifiques, le service est correct. Dommage que la restauration ne soit pas à la hauteur : les buffets sont bas de gamme, même pas digne d’une vulgaire cantine. Le dernier jour le tout inclus s’arrête à 15 heures, ce qui est mesquin surtout pour les vols tardifs.

Highly recommend! The staff is friendly, food quality is great and proximity to the airport is a major plus. Entertainment and activities are good.

Lovely resort with well maintained facilities. The resort holds up to the standard of luxury, and most definitely deserves the rating of 5 stars. Only downfall is that the food at the buffet is decent at best. I would recommend everyone to stay here, as it is also close to the airport.

Très bel hôtel, chambre spacieuse avec une jolie décoration épurée. Le personnel est top, très souriant et serviable.

The service in the Restaurant was very friendly but seems sometimes a bit overwhelmed.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour mais nous sommes un peu déçue car il était indiqué sur le site que nous pouvions réserver un repas romantique sur la jetée alors qu’ils ne le font pas. Alors que nous avions fait toute les démarches pour nous assurer qu’ils le faisaient en appelant. De plus, le personnel (la plupart) sont peu accueillant. Nous avions l’impression de fortement déranger.

The property was gorgeous! The check-in was very slow over half an hour, had to go to three different areas and had to wait over 10 minutes to get our room key because no one was at the third desk.

Unterkunft ganz ok. War nur eine Nacht wegen Flughafennähe. Defekte Fuge unter dem Badaufbau - dort wohnte Ungeziefer. Keine Ahnung ob es ein Käfer oder was anderes war. Verschwand beim Licht einschalten schnell unter dem Badvorbau ;)
