전체 평가 및 리뷰 Spice Tree by Turaco

It was extremely good decision to stay in this hotel for my two-day trip in Zanzibar. The staff(woman on the front desk) was exyremely welcoming and helpful all throughout my stay. The breakfast was fantastic and the ocean view from the restaurant was apparently the commercial for Tanzania Tourism on CNN. I saw this view all the time on CNN and during my breakfast at this hotel:) Only, beware Stone town is very far from Nungwi beach (1h and 30m away by car) and it is in a maze-like alley which makes very difficult and sometimes dangerous for a foreign femaletourist to find and walk in by themselves.

전체적으로 깔끔하고 만족스러웠습니다. 조식 레스토랑도 루프탑에있어 아침마다 즐거웠습니다. 다만, 1층방이었는데 방에서 계속 이상한 냄새가 났네요. 아주 심하지 않아 방을 바꾸진 않았는데 살짝 거슬렸습니다.

Stone Town!

Its only good.for its location and thats it. I dont understand how its a 4 star. The place is badly run with what appears almost to be student's and its a Marriot. The whole place needs a refurb. The icing on the cake was the draggjng of the heavy furniture for 2 nights out of our 3. The noise disruption was so bad and kept us awake. We can only assume as we were on the 4th floor and the 5th floor has the restaurant come bar it was that. But that closes at 10pm and the nois for the 2 nights continued to 4am. Not constant but loud crashes. Plus the house keeping staff shout early morning and bang the doors too. So if you want any sleep you wont get it. Aircon also does nt work properly

Excellent location and overall great service. A few things can be improved given the price. - Breakfast is very bland and could use improvement—fresher breads (ideally baked daily), ripe fruit (two days I was there, the fruit served wasn't ripe), better training of the chef who makes omelets; they were often overcooked; have an option for adding cheese to the omelets which wasn't available. For $17, the breakfast was wanting. - The room was musty, likely related to the high humidity environment and the fact that they don't keep AC throughout. Investing in baseline AC could improve this. - Attention to detail in the room service, e.g, shampoo ran out and I had to ask for it despite daily service. Otherwise excellent hotel.

Hôtel situé dans le cœur de Stone Town. Pas loin des lieux à visiter. Jolie piscine dans un bâtiment proche de l’hôtel mais non chauffée. Accueil sympathique avec un cookie chaud. Chambre assez grande à la literie douteuse. Vue sur un mur.

We enjoyed our stay at the Spice Tree Hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms were nice. The location was great for exploring StoneTown and the staff also offered great recommendations. We had a great stay!

It was good . Friendly staff and really enjoyable.

Good location and affordable in comparison to other hotels nearby. Staff initially put us into a room which had a strong smell, and then moved us to another room promptly once we raised the issue. This happened once again, but they were still accommodating and gave us a room which was fit for purpose.

The room was dingy, it was dark. The bathroom had grout stains on the floor. It felt very dirty. I was surprised it was a marriott. It felt like a motel. The bed was not comfortable. The concierge was not helpful. We asked for restaurant suggestions, they couldnt give us any recommendations. We requested to arrange for a boat tour to the neighboring island, they couldnt arrange it for us. Instead, gave us a number and told us to do it. Never had that experience from any hotel in the past. The lobby was so hot! No AC, and they told me they switched it off because the employee was feeling cold.

Estupendo hotel en medio de stonetown muy cerca de las atracciones de la ciudad , la alberca y el jardin interior son hermoso

Last minute stay. Staff were welcoming and warm. Whole place was extremely clean. Room service & the restaurant above was amazing.

Great property and as to be expected as part of the Marriott Bonvoy family. Everything worked as expected from “central air conditioning”, WiFi, elevator, TV with major news channels and in-house restaurant with room service. I was thoroughly impressed and this is my new “Go To” hotel while visiting Zanzibar.

Great location. Good facilities.

Nice place to stay, however u can hear the noise from the hallway n next door. I wish they had grab bars near the toilet seat which is quite low. Older people with arthritic knees like me would have problem rising from the seat. Other than that the hotel is very pleasant.

Excellent service

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på Spice Tree by Turaco. Vi ble møtt med smil og vennlige mennesker som var behjelpelige med alt vi skulle trenge. Frokosten er fantastisk og det var veldig bra renhold på hele hotellet. Takk for oss og sees igjen!

Hotel is in a great shape, comfortable rooms, good location, nice restaurant upstairs. Gym is basic. Front desk service was not extremely great plus they forgot that we booked ferry pick-up.
