Loved this villa. It was updated and had everything you need for a relaxing getaway right on the beach. Staff were absolutely lovely and with a cafe and market right out the front it mafe life really easy

This was our second time staying here and we're so glad we came back. Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean rooms and love having access to paddle boards, snorkelling equipment and kayaks. The snorkelling off the beach is amazing and its a great place for kids too!

We had an absolutely terrific 6-day stay at Moana Sands Villas! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful—always going above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of amazing. The location is superb: quiet, peaceful, and incredibly convenient. A supermarket, car, and bike rentals are right across the road, and there are two excellent restaurants within walking distance. The beach is simply divine—clean, serene, and just steps from the villa. This place truly offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and tranquility. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. 15/10 overall—highly recommended!

I would stay here again! The location is great—there is a 24-hour supermarket right across from the villas, and a waterfall is within walking distance. If you don’t want to eat out, the villas provide all necessary cooking equipment, including salt and pepper. The swimming pool and beach are just a few steps away, and snorkeling in the lagoon is fantastic. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboarding equipment are also available. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. There’s also a reliable rental company with friendly staff just across the road. The only small downside is that the official check-out time is 10 AM, while the airport shuttle pick-up is at 12:30 PM. Since the villas weren’t very busy (our room wasn’t cleaned immediately after we checked out at 11 AM), it would have been nice to stay until the shuttle pick-up time. However, there may have been other considerations we weren’t aware of. Overall, I would still highly recommend these villas to friends and family!

Loved the stay, my room opened right into ocean with perfect snorkling spot. The only downside was the reception only being open for 3hrs, if i needed any assistance from them

This is our favorite property to stay at. The staff are amazing, friendly and always ready to assist. The location is perfect with Wigmore's across the street, car rental across the street, Circles Cafe next door and a beautiful beach.

Location is great as Wigmore's and restaurants very close. Property is on one of the best beaches on Rarotonga. Villas are a little dated and make sure you contact them and receive exact check in instructions. The office is only open for very limited hours so hard to check in as we had to find a maintenance person by chance walking around to locate our keys and get us into the room.

So easy to walk out the door and into snorkeling paradise.

Really enjoyed this property- we stayed with our two daughters aged 7 and 10. Property was perfect for our needs, handy fridge and kitchen facilities meant we didn't have to eat out every meal. Snorkeling off the property is incredible- did not expect to be able to walk 3 meters into the sea and see tropical fish!
