Nice old colonial era property near the University. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, and the bathroom had a walk-in shower.

“WOW”…where do I begin. The staff was SO kind, played with our children, helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious! It was VERY family friendly! The game drives, watching hippos from the lookout, food, rooms, everything exceeded expectations! The game drives were incredible. We saw the big 5 the first day and learned about the ‘ugly’ five which we also saw! We loved our stay and would very much recommend to anyone considering. I’m glad we picked the Fairmont Masai Mara. It was luxury and safari vibes all in one spot! Thanks for a magical and memorable time!

Me gusta el hecho que es un hotel tradicional, pero creo que deberían preocuparse de mantenerlo mejor, los enchufes en 2 de las habitaciones que estuve no funcionaban. Pedí adaptador y no les quedaban. El restaurant especializado en carnes, tenía la mitad de la carta que ofrecía.

Staff was excellent. Amenities in the room were not up to standard for a 5 stars hotel and overall, the feeling is that the hotel is living on its glory - but is not any longer that good. Hot/Warm water in the shower was not coming. Heating/AC was not working and the insulation of the rooms is of poor quality as well as the sound proofing. What is the point of having a terrace by the garden if you cannot use it as everything gets wet?

Amazing continental hotel with rich history

Charming hotel with amazing staff.

Like other Fairmont properties, the Norfolk did not disappoint. Excellent service and a breakfast buffet that will blow your mind. The staff are well trained and helpful. The hotel courtyard is beautifully manicured and serene. Suggestions: The room I was in could use a little updating, older TV with limited channels. The equipment in the gym needs refreshing and a deep clean (the gym is still better than most hotels, but I've stayed at many Fairmont Hotels and this one is not up to Fairmont standards).

Check in was easy. Staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
