This property is excellent for the money that you spend. It’s a budget hotel with budget people. The pool bar will get crowded during happy hour and that’s ok. They Don’t over decorate the property and that’s ok. The grass and garden is gorgeous. The view of the ocean is gorgeous. Everything is walking distance. The restaurants are FANTASTIC! The red piano bar is amazing! We loved it. The staff was great! The internet was slow.

US$6 per day fee to use the gym. Convenient parking. Excellent staff, especially beach bar. Same breakfast every day. Great location in Simpson Bay. Room was outdated but everything was in good working order. Rainwater settled on balcony for days following a downpour.

The resort grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had plenty of amenities. A very nice stay for the money!

I’ve stayed at the Villa at Simpson Bay several times when visiting St. Martin, and it’s always been a decent and comfortable choice. The staff is very friendly and welcoming at check-in, which I really appreciate. During my most recent stay, it was raining heavily when we arrived, and unfortunately, we discovered that the bathroom ceiling was leaking, with water dripping onto the floor. The room itself was clean and had a beautiful view, which helped balance things out. The next morning, we noticed that a paper shopping bag we had left on the floor was wet, which suggested there may have been another small leak coming from the floor area, though we couldn’t find the exact source. Aside from those issues, the Villa at Simpson Bay remains a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay. It’s close to the airport, restaurants, and nightlife, making it perfect for a quick getaway. With a few maintenance improvements, it could easily be a top-rated spot.

The hotel is lovely but some improvements are required. Improvements: The check in and out was painful and disorganized. Long lines with limited staff working, 3x to be exact. The check in and out lines were funnelled into the same line. So it took longer to check out as you were stuck with the people checking in that had way more paper work to fill in. Check out should be quick and efficient as people have planes to catch. The staff seemed overwhelmed and would barely say hi unless encouraged. Other hotels we went to the staff was enthusiastic and welcoming which helps the process. The room above us were ridiculously loud and partied till 5am! Where was security regulating the hotel? This group ruined the stay for many other groups! The pool needs more filtering as lots of stuff floating around in the water which was not appealing. The positives: rooms were large and spacious. The views are fantastic. Majority of the staff were very nice around the resort. I would look for another hotel before staying here again being an average resort with a disappointing stay.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful and spacious. The view from the room was amazing ( over looks the ocean and pool). Lots of options for food onsite. Package included free breakfast.

Simpson is absolutely the best hotel

I have stayed on this property for many years. This property is well maintained, conveniently located, has a very professional, friendly staff and has remained consistent with everything that I previously mentioned. This property is my go to place in Sint Maarten.

Early check in and late Check out we're honored, wine amenity was also honored along with two small bottles of water, room was clean clean comfortable, tv in bedroom was a good size, we had no complaints about that, tv in the living room was small in comparison. Wi-Fi was just adequate, but not fast enough for gaming and not always fast enough for streaming on a device. TV’s were not compatible with fire stick or PlayStation. Sign in to the Wi-Fi made this not possible. So streaming services couldn’t be used. Pool was heated and large, staff very friendly. We are members and have been coming for many years.
