Very nice

The building itself was large, basically empty, cold and uninviting. The room was comfortable enough, but lacked certain basic amenities: - two large towels and a mat for the floor were the only towels provided, no small towels or face cloths - no stand that a suitcase could be placed on, necessitating use of the bed for that purpose - the showerhead was plced directly over the drain, thus meaning I had to stand directly on the drain or slightly to the side where there were a couple of chucks of grout stuck to the floor - the two women at the front desk were pleasant and quite helpful, however, the two shuttle drivers were morose and uncommunicative. Overall, my experience was less than expected. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express. Instead It's a bit farther from the airport but a world away in terms of facilities, amenities, and service. Plus the breakfast is far superior.

Location was ideal, staff were nice, aesthetics were lacking,lobby music was fit for a palliative facility...

Really close to Piarco and with complementary shuttle it’s very convenient. Staff at front desk shirt and rude, no coffee in room and front desk could Not supply as she said it’s based on availability and they don’t supply hand towels only bath towels. Only stay for one night

The convenience

The property itself is possibly 5/10. Close and conveniently located to the airport. The towels smelled like wet used towels just folded and left to dry. It left an unsettling lingering smell on my skin after using. The rooms could do with a bit of charm to elevate the experience at the price point they are listed for. The reception staff was very pleasant and helpful though.

Water was leaking in the room from rooms upstairs

It's a good run to place.. as being close to Malls with shuttle service, surrounded with places to eat..near airport for youe escape back home.. Hotel service,anything you're not comfortable with they comply to improve ... that part being said it's a comfortable stay... drawbacks you're far from the city, too far for shuttle service. Personally I will revist. See,I do rent a car. All in all for comfort,security and a quiet stay you're home...

3 ièm étage pas accessible car trop délabré. Toilettes des femmes communes Hor d’usage. Draps du lit user (déchirer en periférie) par la lessive répétitive. Buffet présenter sur les photos promotionnel était inexsistant sur place. Bon services des employés.

No plumbing to shower or flush toilet

Very close to the airport. Quick shuttle service to airport. Helpful front desk staff. Quick breakfast service.

L’hôtel est vieillissant et austère. Il manque d’entretien. L’odeur dans la chambre à notre arrivée n’était pas agréable, odeur de renfermé. Le restaurant était vide au petit-déjeuner, pas de buffet. Un effort doit être fait sur l’entretien, la propreté et sur les équipements.

This place needs to get some upgrade. The room smells dirty. The carpet was dirty in the room. The hot water was sending out brown water for all the days. The lights are dull. The lights by the elevator is not working. The shuttle bus needs to be upgraded. The door could not open on one day i used it. The hot water was not working the last day i was there . The only reason i have continued my stay. It’s because it was the only place that was close to where i was visiting. . If I had known better. I was not going to stay there. It’s disgusting.

Most unique is the staff , no shuttle to and from airport, but staff was great 👍

The room was extremely small for a hotel priced at over 500 per night no way

The staff were friendly, eager to help. Hotel transportation to/fr airport fast- after the hotel was able to be contacted. 3 minutes from terminal, 30 minutes to Port of Spain. None of the phone numbers on the website were working numbers. At the front desk I was given 1 (868) 468.8116 which did work. In-room coffee pods were "out of stock" Shampoo dispenser in shower was empty. No wash cloth was available Flatware on tables was wrapped with same lo-budget paper napkins used on tables. Bar was only open during my 3-night visit; beverages were served in dining room. Food was good at hotel. Several item on menu were not available during my stay. "Doubles" at the terminal outside food court were incredibly good, and the Owner was very helpful trying to call hotel which didn't work for her either. I would stay again if working at the airport, but not for a holiday visit.

Property due for uplifting Promising breakfast wasn’t served at time

The staff members were nice, friendly, and very helpful. However, the property's upkeep is poor. The mattress in the room was really hard, there was poor lighting, and there was an air of mustiness.
