Excellent facilities!! the location is not far away from Riverwalk (commercial complex) and especially hotel staffs are in geneal very kind and Wifi system is a quite good.

Everyone was great. Recommend highly. Lilly and front staff are excellent

I was in Gabs for a week for work, and I was pleasantly surprised by Avani. Room was comfortable and quiet, there were multiple restaurants and a coffee shop on site, and the gym was pretty big with multiple machines, treadmills, weights, etc. Pool looked nice but I didn’t have a chance to use it on this trip, though the seating around it was really nice for grabbing a bite to eat while finishing work. And the spa is amazing! Great massage there. I will be back!

Very comfortable hotel. Beds a little small. TVs need updating to be smart. Otherwise it was great.

Please visit Botswana! It’s such a safe, friendly, peaceful, clean, quiet gem with amazing people food and culture. This hotel is the perfect place to stay - clean, professional staff, good breakfast, well priced.

unfortunately, the experience at reception left a lot to be desired. Both during check-in and check-out, the reception staff were not welcoming at all. They were unfriendly and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them simply by expecting to be checked in. What was most disappointing is that they continued with their own conversation while I stood there waiting, making me feel invisible. It came across as unprofessional and very unlike the Avani service I’ve come to expect. A disappointing start and end to an otherwise decent stay.

The entire experience was amazing, all the staff were amazing, always willing to help and go out of their way. Highly highly recommend.

Excellent property fir the business man

Check in wasnt a good experience, it took a long time to check in, one of the staff members was very rude. Room was spacious and clean. They could do better in customer service. Overall it was ok

Not worth the price

Only one slight criticism, no information in the rooms regarding opening hours for breakfast, lunch etc, and checkout time, also no information on tours operating from the hotel. Apart from that I found the staff very efficient and helpful.

Has no lift. Generally in need of renovation and maintenance. Limited choice of restaurants.

Comfortable one-night stay. The room was well furnished and in decent condition, though the AC was a bit tricky. Bathroom was very modern. The hotel has a nice decor,but some areas are showing signs of age. The pool area is nice and large, but could have been a but cleaner and needs new or more modern loungers and seating options. The food menu at the bar was limited, and the food was ok - not the best we had in Botswana, but not bad either. There was a DJ by the pool that was very loud (as seems to be typical in Botswana) but this finished at around 22:00 so did not disturb our sleep. There is no lift, but the staff did help by bringing our luggage up to our 1st floor room.

Above average experience

Very noisy on the street. Aircon is so noisy you have to turn it off. The restaurant was not open so you had to sit by the pool where some local DJ played loud music that was not to my liking. It was windy and cold. I believe the kitchen burnt down a while ago but noone informed me on booking. Left early...

The hotel is quite safe. The is more to be desired about the food service. Restaurant is closed at the weekend.

The hotel is at the top of the range for price. Booked to rooms for government meetings, and one had no hot water..zero! Not an amenity on would even expect was in question?? Issue was reported, not fix fixed, and zero compensation or customer service….full rate, and a sorry about that??? Completely unacceptable at rate.

Very busy hotel so a lot of noise. Our room had a door to the next room and whilst locked, we could hear our neighbors movements very easily
