Stayed for conference and I wouldn't stay here if it was a personal trip. It is a big hotel with decent landscape but there is nothing much to do besides staying at the hotel. 1. Rooms : The bed moves around so it was annoying. I hope it is fixed it down. They had shampoo and shower gel but they don't properly keep them in stock. I only saw Shampoo on the second day thinking the bath gel was multi purpose because they had 4 shower gels in the bath room. 2. Location : The hotel is big and has a decent swimming pool, gym, massage place. However, you have to take a taxi to go outside for a store. It takes around 20 min. to get there. If you want a remote location, it is perfect. If not, you are stuck. 3. Staff : generally, they are nice but you need to expect a long queue at the reception because these guys take forever to process check in/out. took nearly 20 minutes per person. Their system seems to be bad. The procedure is pretty much manual although they use computers. For instance, I had to let them know that they made pre-authorization when I checked in. They were going to charge me extra without canceling the pre-authorization. I think they need to have a systematic procedure to handle customer more efficiently. it just taking too long. Also, I called the reception twice for a technician and still didn't show up. When I asked the name of the person who received the call on the 3rd time, they send the technician.

The room was nice but a few small issues and tea service was basic. The swimming pool wasn’t that well maintained (a random boat?) and used by children mostly. Overall, a nice place but over-priced.

Booked a presidential cottage but on check-in, we were told that the cottages weren't available to our consternation. Checked into a supposedly another room which was supposedly a presidential suite in the main building. Really disappointing and not what we booked. Room offered was very clean though

Restriktioner i hur man får röra sig i samband med konferenser som har onödigt hög säkerhet är ett minus. Sen saknades borste för att rengöra toastolen i mitt rum 407.

This is a beautiful resort hotel. Good for leisure but not so much for business as the rooms are too far from the main lobby and the reception/breakfast area. The rooms are spread across acres of land close to the lake.

The service was ok but some of the basics were missing from the room such as slippers and dressing gowns . One phonecall and the slippers were delivered . But , i didn’t expect a 5 star hotel not to have dressings gowns .

Generally nice hotel, rooms and great food. However had issue whereby my card was charged three times for same meal. Whilst this was caused by POS, i am disappointed at lack of assistance and contact from hotel to reverse charges.

There were several large stains on the carpet around the bed and they gave us a room facing a noisy parking lot although there were many other rooms available with a better view

We’ll run property with excellent staff management. Every request, especially a phone charging converter was supplied as quick as I asked. This will be my go to when I stay in Uganda

I was very impressed at the service level, scenery and food of the hotel. It is amazing if you are stying in Kampala.

Great space and excellent service. Gift shop on site was never open. The room was large but the walls are paper thin.

Staff were great. Easy check in/check out. Room service was excellent and the property is beautiful. We will be staying here again in the future.

This place is not cheap. The level of service was not commensurate with the price. Beautiful grounds and facility. HOWEVER, they could not find my reservation on arrival (booked through Expedia, I provided confirmation number) and kept us waiting for 30 minutes while they worked it out. Rooms were available so to keep us waiting was needlessly vexatious. The front desk staff blamed Expedia, without taking responsibility for their role. Water pressure in the room was low to the point of having barely a drip for shower. Despite booking for 2 adults, breakfast was included for only one. Just a low level of service that one would expect from a cheaper hotel, not worth the $400 I paid.

On the surface this is a lovely resort. However, rooms are a bit grubby and noise all night from construction. Air conditioning did not work very well.

Great venue for the conference, amazing facilities and great service.

Great staff, great food, good rooms, but weekend nights have to be the worst nights for staying. Multiple events and wedding receptions are held right next to the accommodation residences from 10.00am to 11.00pm. Don't expect a restful day and evening if booking for the weekend.

I didn’t like the fact that room services left plates at my door for more than 3 days. This is so unclean. This is risk for travelers to pickup bugs and cockroaches in their bags and bringing it to their homes .

VEry well run and top class. Managers seem on top of things. At price I paid it was good value. Bathroom, matress, desk, room size, wifi, food quality were all high,. It is however too spead out.Gym and pool were 690 m from my room. some rooms would be even further - and it is somewhat uphill outdoor in heat and rain
