The location is in a rather rough part of the city, but have your wits about and open your eyes to see what life is like beyond the glitz and glamour of the touristy areas, the history of the acropolis, and the mysticism of Greece. This is real. I purposely chose the area to see life beyond what's glamorized. The area is safe, the homeless won't disturb you, but like I said, have your wits about. Plus, the metro is merely 100 m away, so you don't have to linger around the area if you don't want to. But, there's a very good Greek and Vietnamese restaurant just like two blocks across the main circus. So that alone is worth checking out the area. Hotel Tier is a very good hotel. It is extraordinarily clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and they are very accommodating. I'd recommend Hotel Tier and the area anytime.
