이동이 편하고 전반적으로 잠만자고 움직이기 좋다.침구가 상당히 깨끗하고 편했다. 다만 첨부터 모기장에 큰구멍과 문이떨어지는 문제점이 빨리 고쳐지지않아 불평했더니 마사지를 할인가격에 해주겠다니 좋았으나 다음날 갔더니 쉬는날이라고...토요일에 ... 그런 말없었는데... 그나라 물가로 싼가격도 아니건만(1박에13만원) 침구아니면 돈이 아깝다ㅠㅠ 또 체크아웃때 세금이 일인당내야한다고

Gut für eine Nacht oder zwei

Overall, my experience was great. The hotel is within walking distance of the Forodhani Market, several lounges, plenty of restaurants, and even the port for Prison Island—very convenient! It’s a cozy and charming place to stay. However, on my last day, there were issues with their payment system. The card machine kept saying "Offline," but management made it seem like I didn’t have the money to pay 🙃. This was frustrating, especially since the machine hadn’t worked a few nights earlier either. I was forced to go to an ATM, pay a withdrawal fee, and return to settle my balance—even though it was clearly a technical issue on their end. When I asked for a receipt, their printer wasn’t working either, and there was no apology for the inconvenience or the way the situation was handled. I really think management should train staff on how to deal with these situations better, as it did leave a sour note at the end of an otherwise lovely stay.

Very nice stay. The hotel is central and very near to main point and 4 min walk from the harbor where exceusions are. The staff were very nice. They upgraded our room for the first night. Cons: it is written free parking however the parking is not free and despite discussing the issue, we understood that it is not their problem if it was written free in the booking site! So we had to pay 1000 tzs per hour. In the common parts there is lots of mosquitos.

Ligger perfekt til, relativt stille område men i Stone Town. Gangavstand til ferga. Nydelig innredet. Kunne hatt større utvalg til frokost.

One of the best hotels EVER!!!!

This was our second time staying at Beyt al Salaam. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From start to finish, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. People went out of their way to help us. The room was kept clean and serviced. There is a restaurant that serves delicious food. The hotel is conveniently located in a lovely part of Stonetown and near to the beach. What made this stay so wonderful was the staff at the hotel who are simply brilliant. Thank you!

Horrible experience with manager at check in, might be trying to SCAM foreigners, be cautious. Hotel restaurant food had me sick for a day and a half of my 4 day trip, AC leaking all over the floor, shower wouldnt drain properly, constant noise outside room window from 2 am til 4 am, none of the remotes worked for the TV that would just get louder and louder on its own. She said she upgraded my accommodations for no charge and allowed me to check in early where early check in is an option listed for property and the room was the exact one i booked and paid for after arguing with me in front of other guests for 2 hours saying that my booking was never confirmed because i didn't pay enough according to her. Lied about emailing me regarding airport transfer that took 3 days for a response in the first place and no response through expedia messaging either. For a slightly more expensive establishment, treatment and property not worth it. Was a last minute choice that I would never make again nor would i recommend. Third time in Zanzibar and this hotel definitely soured what should have been a relaxing getaway as it usually is.

Was advised by the front desk that the room on the ground floor was bigger, and it wouldnt be noisy, however the staff themselves were the noisiest.

Hotels.com never informed this hotel of pur stay. Hence hotel was overbooked and we could not check in. I am still waiting for my refund from hotel.com

Refused entry, property was overbooked

This is my second stay there. One thing that need to be improved is renovation as hotel is very old. House keeping does not fill room with coffees, teas when it's run out. Restaurant serves breakfast at 7 but staff does not come until 7:40. No beach towels even though hotel is closer to the beach. Those things need some improvement but other than that the area around hotel is nice, the old charm of the hotel is beautiful. But it looks like when staff see gay couple traveling together they gave you very unpleasant look

Hotel overbooked, they had us going to a temporary stay, and then after one night coming back to the original hotel. How uncomfortable is having to check-out and check back in interrupting your stay/holidays. I was there for three days, and it ruined my entire second day for having to change hotel due to they overbooked. I booked my stay ahead of time, so it was not a last minute booking, no excuses.

The location is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to walk around Stonetown. Several wonderful cafés and restaurants are nearby and pretty much everything is walking distance. The Beyt is an older simpler hotel much like Tembo House hotel. But everything is clean and good condition. Breakfast is simple but more than enough. The staff are friendly and sweet — a big thanks to Diana for making my check in and check out fast and easy!

The room i stayed in was very classy and spacious.

The AC wasn't working and the plumbling in the room wasn't working and they couldn't put me in another room because they said they were sold out. I wanted to move to another hotel because I was not staying in those conditions they had the audacity to charge me for one night even though it was their fault I couldn't stay there. Never will I be looking at the hotel again. Never again.

I was seeking a charming boutique hotel for my stay in Stonetown, and Beyt Al Salaam exceeded my expectations. The staff were courteous and attentive, and went over and beyond. They all delivered exceptional service. As a single female traveler I felt safe and welcomed. I highly recommend this property and hope to return to Zanzibar and will definitely select this property again. Thank you to everyone of you and keep up the great work. The restaurant served the most delicious meals. Hats off to the Chef! And hats off to the management of the property. Thank you all.

Very comfortable and well-equipped room (aircon, fridge, kettle), serviced daily. Super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely restaurant in the hotel where breakfast served and other meals available. Excellent wifi. Cherry on the top was the swimming pool. Conveniently located with easy access to beach and Stonetown. Would happily stay here again.

Beautiful and superb, great food

Wir haben ein Superior Zimmer gebucht, welches wir im Voraus zahlen mussten. Bei Ankunft wurden wir dann in eine hintere Gasse zu einem anderen Hotel (Al-Minar) geführt und uns wurde gesagt, dieses Hotel würde zum Beyt al salaam gehören, was jedoch nicht stimmte. Das Zimmer war klein, nicht schön, Klimaanlage defekt, Handtücher und Dusche waren dreckig und das Frühstück ungenießbar. Erst bei mehrmaliger Nachfrage stellte sich heraus, dass unser Superior Zimmer im Beyt-al-Salaam bereits an einen anderen Gast vermietet wurde. Wir haben keine Erstattung erhalten! Zwar einen Late-Check-out im schlechten Hotel aber was bringt es, wenn man sich da so unwohl fühlt, dass man weg möchte….sind sehr sehr enttäuscht. Mafiöse Struktur! Können daher weder das Beyt-Al-Salaam noch das Al-Minar Hotel empfehlen. Enttäuschung Pur!!!! Geld weg!!!
