Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Well appointed Cabin with plenty of room right beside The Tasman Sea & opposite the Glow Worm Dell Full site is well maintained Nice walk into Hokitika which is a West Coast Town well worth a visit Tip Top springs to mind Alistair McManus

Nice apartment. Close to the beach. Also the Gliw Worm Dell is directly across the highway. Very fun!!

Had an amazing night on our drive towards Queenstown - shame it was only one night! Rooms were very comfortable with lovely beds. Reception welcomed us and gave some suggestions. Hotikika town centre was lovely, plenty of places to eat.

Interesting log units in a nice grassy area near the beach. No microwave for heating any food. Shower was surprisingly good and the bed was comfortable. The main attraction was the feeling of being out in the country, with alpacas included!

Lovely quiet setting right by the beach. Very easy to find. Loved the animals on the site and the glowworm dell across the road.

Very nice cottage. GPS was a bit confusing on location but look for sign just of highway. Enjoyed walk to beach and glow worm dell

I got there after the office closed, and left before it opened, so did not interact with staff.(I had prepaid, and a key was left out for me. Loved the room, like a log cabin or chalet. It was very comfortable, had a nice deck. Just steps from the beach. Nice stay.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location, on the beautiful, rugged beach was so beautiful. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Wifi was useless and limited sound proofing between rooms. Bathroom was shabby, cheaply built and dated. Partner slipped on the slick metal shower tray (there was nothing to grab hold of to steady himself other than the cheap shower curtain) and fell. The shower wall liner was only thin wet room wallboard (seratone) with no reinforcing and being a larger man his hip went through the wall when he fell. There was a small solid wood shelf placed directly above the rubbish bin. He cracked his head hard (drew blood and almost knocked himself out) on the corner of shelf after using bin. Very unsafe placement. We reported both incidents on checkout. Staff took 2 phone numbers, email address and 2 card details. I asked to be informed asap as to what would happen. I returned to motel 5 times over a week to enquire about the incident. Until the last time the owner was never on site. Reception staff were unable to update me and assured me they were telling the owner I would like some contact from her. She never bothered to contact me regarding either of the incidents. When I finally got lucky and she was there she charged us for the repair to the shower and inquired as an afterthought about the damage done to his head. I don't believe we should have had to pay anything for a genuine accident caused more by their use of cheap materials. I would not recommend this property and will never go back.

Good value but room very small.

Had to wash all the dishes before we could use them. Host at the front desk was stand off ish. Bed cover was a mattress cover. Totally cheaped out

No key for patio door. Couldn’t exit via the beach unless locked from inside

Ruhige Lage nah am Strand. Nur hundert Meter entfernt gibt bes eine Glowwormdell, wo wir diese leuchtenden Larven einer Mückenart zum erstem Mal gesehen haben.

Fabulous place. So close to beach. Definitely stay again.

Our lodge was close to the motorway and you could heart the traffic noise day and night. location is nice to close the beach, but the distance to main street is bit far by foot.

Beautiful property. Lovely animals on the farm and nice beach walk.
