BIG room with exceptionally comfortable beds. Narrow and precarious walk up stairs were uncomfortable for mild disabilities after a long day on the road. Heater in room did NOT work, and central heating had been turned off for the season. In a bit of bad timing, we got a spring cold snap complete with snow, and it was a little brisk. The included breakfast at the next-door cafe featured perfectly cooked eggs over easy and good sausage for me; son also enjoyed his veggie option. Would stay again.

Inn's room is reasonable and appeared clean. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding.

Very nice. Big, clean, quiet room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast included. Walking distance to multiple eateries.

Central location with excellent breakfast. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of parking right outside of our room.

Right downtown. For get the big chains and stay here! It's a motel and it's basic but it's clean and friendly. Can't go wrong.

Great place

Great rooms for the price. Parking in front of the room. Dining in walking distance.

The room was just as it said it was. Double beds, Internet, TV. The shower and toilet were separate from the double sink which was great. The shower was a little quirky to get the temp not burning or freezing due to a separate Cold and hot knob. Breakfast was in the restaurant connected to the hotel and it was good.

The breakfast was GREAT!! Room was clean and had been updated. Only downer was the refrigerator didn’t cool.

The free breakfast isn't the best and orange juice is baby small. Biscuit and gravy is just that, ONE biscuit. Bacon wasn't all the way cooked. We topped the waitress and chose to eat somewhere else. Room was clean but mattress was super noisy and worn out.

So so for the price. I am not fond of checking into a room to find appliances unplugged. Obviously an effort to save money. Cheap bed and mattress. Breakfast in an adjoining restaurant. Note in advance that only one breakfast coupon per guest is allowed. Yes, we get it!

I liked the breakfast vouchers that the Inn gave us to go next door to an actual restaurant, could choose from a menu and dine in or call ahead and carry out.

Cute little place. Very reasonable. Fantastic breakfast. Bed was not remotely comfortable.

This is a great value in the San Luis Valley. I have stayed here several times. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast included with the room at the restaurant next door is a great way to start the day. The service at the restaurant is very good too.

The Dunes Inn isn't glamorous but I wasn't expecting that. It was clean and efficient though. I was sick during my stay and alone so I wish that they offered room service. I had to go out into the snow to get the free breakfast they offer at a close by restaurant. I called to see if they could deliver it but the answer was no.
