약간 산속에 있어서 찾기 힘들수도 있지만, 어짜피 차로 이동해서 숙소로 들어가실거면 Bath근처의 비싼 호텔보다는 훨씬 좋아요. 아침에 일어나면 주변에 아주 조용한 풍경에 감동입니다. 그리고 이곳의 음식들이 아주 맛있습니다. 숙소내부 리노베이션을 작년 가을에 다시 했다고 합니다. 그래서인지 아주 깨끗해요. 대중교통 여행객 아니고, 조용한 곳을 원하는 여행객이라면 저는 적극 추천입니다.

Wonderful

Property delivers beautiful views, but the good was average and below expectations, the fans provided in the bedrooms were inadequate and I barely slept a wink, disturbed further by an early morning brewery delivery below my bedroom window. I won’t be staying again :-(

Nice little pub/restaurant/hotel tucked away from the main street....clean nicely furnished rooms..great bar with very good ales..best Vegan breakfast I have experienced.....⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room was satisfactory. Could do with a thorough clean. I had no milk both days I stayed. Pub/restaurant was very nice. Staff were all friendly.

The staff were lovely. The room had some issues. The lighting was poor especially the communal corridor. Couldnt see to insert the door key. No facial tissues. The dressing table was unstable and wobbled. Breakfast was excellent, dinner not so. My main portion was paltry. A discount of £2.40 was offered as compensation, not enough. There was a horrid smell of old refuse and greasy food in the communal corridors. The views and location were exceptional. The staff were helpful and lovely. Not the best value unfortunately.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was beautiful, the view was gorgeous, the people were so friendly, and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing countryside getaway!

Lovely spot with fabulous views over the valley. Tucked away in a small hilltop hamlet. Clean, comfortable & practical room. Only had breakfast which was excellent. Very friendly welcoming staff.

It was good

The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance.

An average room (incorrect luxurious room photo on the booking email is NOT the room we actually booked). Comfy bed. Shower trap absolutely stank so we poured hot water and half a bottle of shower gel down it. We asked for a quiet room, but the standard double room we were in is next to the kitchen, and we could here extraction fans until midnight, then the rattle of fridges through the wall all night long. Not ideal! We did mention this to the landlord and he was going to look into this.

Cracking place. Great food, lovely rooms, super staff, fantastic location. Would love to go back.

Always had a soft spot for the Quarryman’s but never stayed there service and staff were fantastic full English for breakfast amazing cute quaint room and the best pub garden there is to watch a sunset recommend to all
