It was more than I expected. The staff was readily helpful and always initiated an assistance. Their food was also good! And they had lovely room service, laundary service and wonderful swimming pool, too! Well-trimmed and watered garden was also impressive! Close to the city center so it was very convenient to start and finish the Safari and the end-of-day shopping was also very time-effecient! Also, the giftshop in the hotel sells postcards and stamps and sends them to the post office for the guests too! Just incredible service!!!

staff is great

The Mt Meru hotel was the perfect place to stay before our safari. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant as well. We would definitely choose it another time. Thank you!

the hotel was nice especially the gardens. The food was good, the service was good, the staff were helpful. The room was a little on the small side, and the tv did not work. There was music playing near the hotel until 3am.I think a little overated for the cost.

We stayed as a group. One group member had issues gaining access to her room. No face clothes in rooms. They charge for bottled water at dinner time.

The property was very clean and the grounds were beautiful

The staff was excellent and helpful. Food was also great. However, the design of the bathroom shower was terrible and make having a shower very difficult. We had water going everywhere and we had limited towels. We kept asking for towels and barely got what we needed.

Un hôtel "dans son jus" qui mériterait une belle rénovation. Satisfaisant pour une halte à Arusha. Chambre propre.

Les chambres sont très basiques et ne sont pas rénovées, ça ne merite pas 4 etoiles, la douche est nulle, pas de rideau donc dès que tu prend une douche l'eau déborde et en plus il n'y a que une douche au plafond mon epouse etait obligée de se mouller les cheveux chaque fois.

Very clean and excellent

A sanctuary within a busy large town. Very clean and super helpful Staff. The food, whether breakfast, lunch or supper was delicious and tasty. On the flip side, in areas it was tired and out of 3 different rooms, the shower/ bath combo always wanted to leak. All in all, a very good hotel to rest and recuperate after scaling Mt Kilimanjaro

Stopover for flight

Several issues. Firstly the fridge and the TV in the room did not work properly and full credit to the staff that they fixed these issues. Two other important issues 1) unusable internet and 2) the air conditioning kept cutting out. I raised these issues with the hotel but nothing changed.
