Located in the CBD was what I needed and the hotel was perfect.

Great location in the CBD, I walked to the city market, KICC, and lots of restaurants. The staff at breakfast were friendly and actually called me one morning when they didn’t see me so as to check on me. Security guards were helpful and I felt safe as a solo traveller. About 30 minutes to Kenyatta airport and many attractions

Wir waren sowohl vor als auch nach unserer Safari im Chester. Die Zimmer sind wirklich groß und entsprechen der Beschreibung aber die Badezimmer insbesondere die Armatouren sind die reinste Katastrophe. Der service ist freundlich aber man muss, obwohl für zwei Personen gebucht, hinter der Ausstattung für die zweite Person hinterher telefonieren. Das Frühstück ist einfach Mega. Alles in allem o. K. um einen Zwischenstop einzulegen.

The pool was lovely. The room was lovely. Simple and everything worked - microwave, fridge, etc. Easy check in and helpful and friendly staff. Be careful walking the ‘hood. Stay alert and it is all good.

The views from my room showed how beautiful the area is with nearby parks and soaring hawks, egrets and swallows nearby. The nearby streets require you pay attention to your surroundings.

This is my home away from home! Stayed here for years and for the first time my room was not clean, just neat!!

Da wir keine großen Ansprüche haben, war das Hotel durchaus ok. Der Poolbereich - wegen dem wir das Chester ausgewählt hatten - war allerdings recht enttäuschend. Zudem waren wir etwas irritiert, dass vieles nur für 1 Person vorgesehen war: 1 Dusch- und 1 Händehandtuch, 1 Tasse mit 1x Instantkaffee, 1 Wasser. Auf unsere Bitte hin haben wir zumindest ein zweites Duschhandtuch bekommen. In der letzten Nacht fehlte der Bettbezug (d.h. auf dem dünnen Laken zum Zudecken lag die nackte Bettdecke), das fanden wir etwas unhygienisch. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut geeignet für Westler, man fühlt sich sicher; direkt gegenüber befindet sich ein leckeres Restaurant.

I truly love staying at Chester House -it is my home away from home! The place is clean, staff is friendly, & professional & go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as perfect as you want it to be! CH is perfectly situated close to everything -highway, local transport, walking distance to all CBD places one needs -supermarkets, government/business offices, church, gym, clubs, restaurants etc you name it & Chester is close to it!

The website is deceiving. Too dirty. Left after 10 minutes and booked another hotel. Will request for a refund
