류블랴냐 시내에 위치해 대중교통(버스, 택시), 시내 주차장, 슈퍼, 각종 레스토랑, 카페와 가깝습니다. 시내의 일반 아파트들과 달리 리셉션이 있어 필요시 바로바로 도움을 받을 수 있는 것도 장점입니다. 룸은 공간이 넓어 2명이 사용하기에도 쾌적하며 따뜻하였습니다. 창가에 골목이 있고, 바와 가까워 저녁에 소음이 들리기는 하나 새벽가지 이어지지는 않으며 냉장고와 주전자, 접시, 칼 등은 있지만 전자렌지나 가스렌지, 오븐은 없으니 요리는 불가능합니다.

정말좋았어요! 슬로베니아에 2주 있었고, 2주동안 제일 유명하다는 호텔2곳과 이곳 총 3곳에서 머물렀는데, 제일 좋았던 곳이었어요! 일단 방이 정말 컸어요 , 주방 과 거실 화장실이 다 분리되어있었고 천장도 높고!! 냉장고 부터 에어컨, 조리도구, 컵, 식기류 뭐 없는게 없어요! 와인잔에 와인따개까지 있을 정도니까요! 관광중심지랑은 정말 가까워요! 광장 이용하기 적합한 장소에 있어서 만족해요ㅎ 다만 버스 정류장과는 좀 멀어서 그게 살짝 아쉽긴하지만.... 뭐 못 걸을 정도는 아니라서 크게 신경쓰일 부분은 아닌듯해요, 오히려 마트나 먹는 식당들은 이곳이 더 가깝기 때문에 장점이 더 많은 곳 이라고 할 수 있을것 같아요ㅎ 그리고 직원분이 정말정말 친절하시고 ㅠㅠ 친근감 그 자체에요 ㅠ 아시다시피 유럽 특히 외국은 친근감 있게 진심으로 웃으면서 친절히게 대해주는사람 찾기 힘든데ㅠㅠ 직원분 체크인 할때도 아웃할때도 뭔가 가르쳐주실때도 걍 진짜 친절과 동네언니같은 느낌 그 자체입니다ㅜㅜ 다시오면 두번망설이지도 않고 꼭 여기 올겁니다 ㅎ 솔직히 다른 이름있는 호텔들 다 실망했어요 사진과 완전 다르고ㅠ 원룸같고 냉장고는 죄다 찾아볼수도 없었거든요, 친절도 뭐 그냥 상업적인느낌... 가격은 다 성수기라 좀 있었지만 다른곳들은 돈아깝다는 느낌 너무 심한반면 여기는 하나도 안아까워요 레알 참 트루 입니다 ㅠㅠ 여러분 여기 꼭 가세요 두번세번가세요

Bring lotion, shampoo and conditioner. There are no shelves or steps in the shower. Everything you need, but nothing extra.

A charming repurposed palace, with high ceilings and lots of interesting features. Also very comfortable. A nice welcome from the hotel staff and lots of helpful information.

Lots of space, good location

Barbo Palace a great location to get to everything in the city. The room was nice, clean, and very large. The staff were friendly and gave excellent recommendations when we checked in. I would absolutely stay here again.

The apartment was located in a very old but charming building right in the heart of Old Town. No vehicles are allowed in that location so be prepared to walk a few blocks with your luggage. Thankfully the building does have a modern elevator. The staff were helpful and friendly. All the best sights in Ljubljana are within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

We had an excellent stay at Barbo Palace. Stayed for three nights in the castle view room. The suite was very comfortable and spacious with two large bedrooms, a sitting area, well stocked kitchen and sizeable bathroom (including a large shower). The air conditioner kept the bedrooms very comfortable with the heat Ljubljana was experiencing at the time. We loved the location, quiet but easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go and close to the edge of the pedestrian only area for tour and rental car pick ups. I would absolutely stay here again on any future trips to Ljubljana, it’s a gem in the city!

What makes this place so special, besides its charm, is Gregor the receptionist. He was incredibly welcoming, and his food recommendations were spot on! We liked that the place was central, generally quiet, and had a kitchen.

Beautiful old palace converted to apartments. Rooms are spacious and historic. Loved the air-conditioning on the hot days we were there. Staff were very helpful and allowed us to stash our bags and arranged for airport transfers. Location is excellent in Old Town.

It is a wonderful hotel in the historic old town. The staff was very helpful. You can walk everywhere and it is a beautiful town. The staff had nice suggestions for what to do. One drawback is that you have to park at lots outside of town. It was pretty easy once you figure it out. A taxi brings you to outside the center and a small electric car will take you to the hotel. The hotel staff was happy to help calling taxis. The hotel included your first ride to the hotel and your check out. I highly recommend this hotel!

Located in the heart of Ljubljana, Barbo Palace offer a unique stay in a historic building with a calm atmosphere. The staff recommended some great places to get a taste of the local cuisine. Super helpful check in. The only downside was that it was quite cold in the room during the night (I could've most likely fixed this with turning the AC on) and low water pressure in the shower with limited hot water. I would definitely stay here again!

Location is great. Historic nature of property is interesting. Staff were mixed in terms of helpfulness. Towels and sheets were cleaned but stained. Shower was nice.

I would encourage anyone to stay at Barbo Palace. Perfect location and extremely charming. It’s worth not having extra amenities. Although you may have to wiggle the door handles a little more or there may be a crack in the wall, it adds to the character and charm. Rooms are very spacious, well kept, and clean. Highly recommend

Beautiful property. It’s a vintage property. Large rooms. They need coffee machines in EVERY room (instant coffee is NOT the answer). Staff is wonderful.

Great location for visiting the city. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking options are manageable.

The apartment was perfect for a family of three, with a large master bedroom and a small room for a child. The hotel staff was helpful and gave a lot of tips, although maybe too many! Our only real issue was that the internet wasn't working in our room, and because it was a weekend they couldn't seem to fix it. Luckily we didn't really need it much while we were there.
