This hotel has been in business for many years. The old original building had nice architectural things like hand laid wood parquet flooring, funky old bathtubs. Nice art on the walls. Clean crisp linens. Breakfast included. Restaurant has nice selection of foods, well prepared. Staff very professional, helpful, cheerful. This is our go-to hotel when we need to be in Accra.

Located on a serene location, friendly staff and if there's something wrong, they are quick to fix it.

The cleanliness of the facility, the reception and the services is always welcoming from security, to front desk and extends to all the services I patronised

Absolutely great----only disappointment was no ripe plantain for my Redred last night at dinner .

I have been using Mahogany Lodge simce 2006 for my pre airport nights and my flight arrival recuperation weekends. Travel with friends to shop in Accra (I live in Cape Coast. ) Lunch with friends and family. Staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are comfortable, AC and hot water, crisp linens, and a mini fridge in the room. Perfect.

The food from the restaurant was exceptional. The service and homey atmosphere reminded me of why I love visiting Ghana. For that alone, I give 4 stars. The other reviews mentioning some desire for room upgrades or functionality are unfortunately on point. I would visit again.

A clasdic boutique hotel, been staying there since 2000. The old part of the original building has nice architectural touches, like the original parquet hardwood floors. Outside swimming pool and tables and chairs is lovely, well kept, quiet. Restaurant food us excellent, staff are professional. One of my favorite hotels im Accra.

One complaint I have was that the air conditioning in the room 115 did not work properly. A maintenance man came up and adjusted the remote, pretty much the same thing I had been doing. It turned out that my husband bring Nigerian does not like a/c too much, so we didnt pursue ot further but they need a better working unit in that room. Also when I ou have a deep bathtub you .ust have safety bars to get in and out. Very dangerous.Other than that it was a quaint little place.

Hotel is nice enough but the location is quite far from the main town/nightlife and the room is dated. Bathroom needs renovating and breakfast was very poor.

Great, overall

Mahogony Lodge is in a great area to get around Accra. The local bus takes you to local shops in downtown Accra e.g Oxford Street and taxi's are plentiful. Worth using Bolt and or Ubers for good prices. The hotel staff are in general very welcoming and helpful - lots of genuinely nice people. The outdoor areas are well maintained. Mahogany Lodge needs updating internally to reflect the up and coming area. The decor is tired and outdated, what a difference some improved lighting and brighter walls could do. Mahogany Lodge is worth a visit.

The rooms need updating, decorating and new furniture. I would definitely return.

Staff were slow to service. I appreciated the cleaner bringing me my power bank when I left it in the room

This was an amazing location the well-balanced staffing with profound pleasing personality 👌.

Although, the place is old and could use an upgrade it is, nevertheless, quiet and clean with a friendly staff. But, like most of the hotels in Ghana it cost too much for what you get.

Wonderful, I have stayed in the top hotels in Accra for past eight years I have been visiting for business, but Mahogany is the one I fell most at home. This is my first stay, it would be my place to go Accra.

I would like to give it a higher rating but we encountered too many problems that took a little too long to fix and others that didn’t quite justify our effort given our short stay (2 nights) slow draining tub, very hot room when we checked in, 2 hours to replace light bulb in bathroom, toiletries not replaced, missing towel
