I am a foreigner. I arrived at Trier train station and tried to catch a taxi. But no taxi can be found. Uber is not working. So I had to walk about 30 minutes with a heavy luggage. When I arrived I asked the reception. The receptionist replied that I could use Google and call a taxi. But I don't speak German. I arrived the room but no water. I found the hotel has a vending machine selling the small size bottle at a higher price like in the airport. The next morning I had a breakfast which was included in the room price. The only hot food offered was just a boiled egg. Mainly bread and cheese. But they had full drink menu including milk, hot water, juices, and some fruits. The room was cold and the room temperature control was not working for some reason. But I found a very nice restaurant at the nearby hotel. I advise all visitors to bring their own cars or book taxies in advance, and bring your own water. The bed was comfortable and room is quiet.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in dem Hotel übernachtet und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück war frisch. Die Eier waren köstlich. Man konnte sich einen Kaffee zum Mitnehmen holen. Der Parkplatz lag direkt neben dem Hotel. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Plenty to choose from for breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A 15/20 minute walk into the town along the river. Would recommend a stay here.

Great hotel, located at the Mosel and walking distance to the city center. Friendly personel, good breakfast and parking in front of the hotel. Already my 2nd time that I've booked here and can recommend to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay here … check-in was easy and quick. All the staff members we interacted with were friendly, professional and kind. The breakfast was good and the staff worked diligently to keep everything stocked and clean. The rooms are very small but up-to-date and comfortable. As with other hotels, only shampoo and body wash is provided (no hair conditioner or lotion). Happily, Kleenex tissues are included, as is a hairdryer. Ice is available in the lobby. We did not try the lounge bar but it looked inviting. The location is walkable to the main sites in Trier - about 20 minutes thru nice neighborhoods. There is a nice walking trail along the river behind the hotel with a restaurant or two.

We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses across the UK & Europe. And as expected great welcome from staff, nice quiet & very clean room, lovely pizzas from the bar staff & very good breakfast service. However, on this occasion we were shocked that we had to eat our breakfast with a yapping, loud dog that was begging its owners for food which they obliged & the animal was eating it off the floor at their table. I’m sorry to say in my opinion dogs should not be in the restaurant area of a hotel with other paying guests. It spoiled our breakfast experience, because of the noise & the acoustics of the room. Perhaps an area should be designated away from other guests.

Excellent breakfast, clean room, great shower and terrific staff. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Insgesamt ein sehr guter Aufenthalt, das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, Frühstück war auch gut. Insgesamt für eine spontane Übernachtung völlig in Ordnung.

Väldigt genomtänkta moderna o frächa rum. Ingående frukost utan spartanska inslag. Begränsad barmeny med pizza av toppklass. Bra läge med parkering. Återvänder gärna!

Rührer sind typisch wie in den USA Hotels, schmecken einfach nicht, schön wäre es wenn diese Frisch wären, Säfte frisch und nicht als Konzentrat

Nytt och fräscht hotell.

Stayed here instead of Luxembourg for a work trip to Grevenmacher and it worked out much better. Trier is very close and convenient with plenty of options for shopping and food. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Only downside was parking, which was very difficult after 6 pm, otherwise an excellent hotel.

Sólo fue por una noche aún así estuvimos a gusto. El Check-in era a partir de las 3pm, pero nos dejaron entrar a la habitación antes de las 2 pm, no nos cobraron nada. No sabenos si fue porque estaba nevando, pero igual pudieron habernos dicho que no. En la página decía que cobrarían 15 € extras por estacionarse, pero al final tampoco nos cobraron. El desayuno estuvo rico, además la habitación estaba también limpia, sin duda lo recomendamos.

Habitaccion confortable. Desayuno muy bueno.
