As there aren’t many hotel options in the area, and most others are quite expensive, this place is a great find. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it offers beautiful sunset views, and if you’re staying in Room 3, you'll have a great view of Le Morne. It’s within walking distance of a grocery store and Kind Coffee shop, which my Le Morne guide said was the best coffee he had in Mauritius. This is a great base for exploring the southwest of the island. The only downside was a foul smell near the toilet.

Sunset Villa was my home in La Gaulette for a week. A spacious location and kind hosts who were extremely helpful. I will try to return to this magical location one day.

Wir erhielten bei der Ankunft in der Sunset Villa ein Upgrade und bekamen eine super Wohnung in der blue pearl villa. Die Villa hat zwei Wohnungen und einen tollen Pool, welchen wir ganz alleine für uns hatten. Sehr netter Staff!! Würden wir gleich wieder buchen.
