A very nice hotel with lovely decor and friendly, attentive staff. The excursions are a bit expensive but worth it. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Beach Lodge to other travelers.

VBL is the perfect place to just relax. Staff was fantastic, coordinating activities was perfect- pick up from airport and return great. beach location was wonderful. will definitely be back!

Amazing lodge, right on the beach with incredible team who always strived to give first class service. Beautifully decorated cottages, all set in well manicured tropical gardens.

The hotel manager is amazing and friendly and so was the staff. We went to Mozambique for the horse safari and added this hotel for our last couple of days. Food was fantastic. Would recommend!

We came here on our honeymoon and was a lovely place to stay. It's really quiet with not much to do and not many other restaurants etc near by but the food in the hotel is lovely and there is lots of choice. As a majority good service and friendly staff. Bar does close at 9:30pm which seemed quite early. Breakfast was nice but I recommend not leaving it last minute as often things like croissants didn’t get replenished. Overall a lovely trip and a great hotel. Good choice!

Everything was great. The rooms were excellent and well kept. Everyone went above and beyond to assist us. Truly a place to revisit.

Lovely beach lodge to stay at in Vilanculos. Only one restaurant but really enjoyable. The view from all areas of the lodge is really breathtaking. Stunning place.

Amazing place and good, kind service Just watch out when it comes to organize some day trip: ask for the exact terms and conditions (ie kind of boat used to visit the islands) because you may experience some bad surprise since the service it is outsourced from the hotel

The lodge was pleasant and homely to stay in. The family suite was perfect for us with two king beds. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean. The food and drinks were amazing. The lodge is located near restaurants and a few steps from the beach. We did canoeing offered for free by the lodge, massage, quad bikes, and visited two islands where we did snorkeling. Other than that, thanks to Angela and Sara made our stay so comfortable. They would take their time to guide and ensure we were comfortable. Not forgetting the servants, Lovejoy, Felipe, Sergio and others not mentioned.

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the AMAZING views. it truly is such a special place! The staff were incredible and nothing was too much to ask for which really made our experience here. Thank you for such an amazing holiday and we will be back!!

Had a great stay at the Vilankulos Beach Lodge. Well run, staff are friendly and attentive. Location to the beach was amazing, pool was always blue and clean. Angela the manager was there to welcome us in person and see us off in person too. Wifi is pretty good in almost all areas. Did want a better seafood menu - prawns were average ito taste. Will definitely go back though.
