Highly recommend this great hotel. The rooms are so clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The pool area is superb. The restaurant is delicious. We loved ever part of this beautiful hotel.

Appreciated the breakfast and airport shuttle. The pool was great after being in the jungle for a week!

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The linens were amazing. I was glad to find AC in the room. The television had many popular apps installed so we were able to watch some television. The pool was nice and I was able to swim some laps. The free breakfast was good. It was only a short walk to Coca. It was a very nice stay.

This was a nice hotel and more luxurious than expected. The pool and garden layout are wonderful, rooms clean and nicely furnished. My only issue was, no warm water in the shower (yes, despite the hot and humid weather).

I stayed at this hotel twice, once before Amazon jungle trip and then after. It was a very nice and safe hotel. Staff was very friendly and respnsive to questions and needed services. It is close to downtown Coca, and the city center is a good walkable place. Although I did not use the pool, it, and the surrounding propert looked very inviting.

The one night stay was very, very comfortable. The room was tremendous in size and the breakfast was perfect. And the tour within the facilities by a staff member was fantastic. I will certainly recommend Gran Hotel De Lago El Coca to anyone traveling to this area.

The staff was pretty friendly and tried to help out. The room was clean. It was weird that you had specifically ask for certain toiletries. The pool was covered with alga. Even though they claim to have airport pick it, it is only available during the week. If you travel during the weekend, you are out of luck. The worst is that they don't tell you in the Orbitz price there is a surprise 10% service charge. The Orbitz price includes the tax but not the service price.

We had a wonderful time while in Quito due to our host, Hernan, suggesting local sites and activities. The room included a delicious homemade breakfast with local food and juices. We are looking forward to a return visit.

friendly staff

Pros-Pool and grounds were great. Staff was friendly. Cons-hot tub was not heated. Restaurant service was really slow. Would stay again.

The Hotel Gran de Coca was an excellent place to stay in preparing to go to the jungles of Ecuador. The pool, dining, and nature area were nice and the staff was excellent. This is in Coca, an economically challenged place so don't expect oppulence and fancy restaurants, but the hotel was comfortable, clean, and had excellent food and service. Airport shuttle was handy though downtown Coca and the airport were in walking distance, but taxis are affordable. Speaking spanish is highly recommended in Coca generally as it's not a place with a lot of english speakers, but you can figure things out!
